B Hall – Has he done enough to make your forward line yet? Kicked 4.3 and scored 108 pts.
R Griffen – Had a 95 meaning he’s strung a few good games together. Worth a punt in your midfield but I won’t be chancing him.
S Higgins – Subbed on in Q3 and still cracked a lazy 62. Great F/M DPP option.
A Cooney – A 62 from 20 touches has some alarm bells ringing for me.
L Gilbee – Ditto the 55 from Gilbs. Just not consistent enough.
J Roughead – 10 hitouts and 5 disposals for 23 points. Won’t set the world on fire but doesn’t need to as your 4th ruck.
Port Adelaide
R Gray – Was voted the Power’s most improved player last year. Had a 99 here.
K Cornes – Had an Adelaide media commentator calling for his removal from the team last week. 76 points in this game. I’m not touching him.
J Westhoff – Is the second coming of Christ if you believe everything you read in Adelaide. 49.
M Banner – 15 disposals for 46 points. Had to happen sooner or later.
N Krakouer – Followed up last week’s 57 with a 34. They’ll be jumping off him in droves.
C Cornes – 43 points. ‘Nuff said.
