Weekend Review – Roos v Dockers

North Melbourne
B Harvey – First game for ’09. At $500k is good value as a DPP (fwd/mid) especially if he keeps putting up 109’s.
E Lower – Got 9 games last year and is only valued at $272k. Is a good fit for the North midfield but you’re taking your chances. Got 105 in this game.
D Petrie – Put him in your ruck and Tippett in your forward line then switch them all year to your heart’s content. 82.
J Ziebell – Didn’t get a lot of time on the green stuff but still managed a 74. DPP (fwd/mid) valued at $320k. Not much to dislike about that.
L Greenwood – Also didn’t get a lot of time on the pitch and scored 60. Here’s your jumper, Levi. Rick Ladson, don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.
L Anthony – Came off in Q3 so you can’t read a whole lot into his 40.
R Bastinac – 15 disposals and 3 tackles for 52. Worth some consideration for your midfield bench if you can get past Banner, Barlow and Shuey.

Fremantle
C Mayne – 5 goals in a Pav-less forward line, 100 SC pts, $274,500, 64.60 avg in 2009, 75 pts last week against the Dees, what else do you want to know?
H Ballantyne – Returned an 88 after cracking the ton last week. Is proving hard to ignore at $269k.
M Barlow – 27 disposals, 7 marks, 86 pts. Could even take an onfield spot in your midfield with this type of output.
C Pearce – Didn’t disappoint either with 74 after 94 last week. May struggle to get past Barlow for a rookie spot.
A Sandilands – Only had a 61 on the back of 32 hitouts and 15 disposals.
G Broughton – 85 last week, 83 this week. Price will have to come down if you’re prepared to burn the trade to get him in.
A Morabito
– Had a 60 but his $164k price tag is offputting when compared to some of the other talented young midfielders that are putting up bigger numbers at the moment.
