  1. Only been watching the second quarter and a bit of the third but confidence is rising on my Tom Stewart pick.
Gibcus been solid for the tigers too.

  2. Some scores I’ve seen someone posted up on Twitter at 1/2 time:

    – Stewart 77 points (12 disposals at 92%)
    – Dusty 66 points (17 disposals at 71%)
    – Short 54 points (14 disposals at 79%, 7 marks)
    – Ralphsmith 50 points (12 disposals at 75%)

Stengle apparently doing very good too, Gibcus doing alright as a key-position player

  3. Dusty been at nearly every centre bounce since I started watching.
Not doing much defensively which is pretty normal for him, especially in preseason.

  4. Damn, Stewart going to make this difficult.

Returning from a lisfranc injury (can be easily reaggravated) but watch him just defy the odds and pop off anyway.

    Argh.

    1. No sign of lingering effects from the injury either GD. Stewart moving very well.
Jumped on someone’s head for a great grab in the 3rd quarter too.

      1. Wow. Really, Jam?

        Ffs lol.

Like, on paper I shouldn’t be considering a player with THAT injury at THAT price but Stewart is just a god.

Looking like he’ll be working his way back into all our calculations. I know you’ve been early on him, Jam.

          1. Thoughts on Ralphsmith, GP?

Looked the goods at HB with some good CP work. Does that hold come Round 1?

            1. Pros:
              Passes the eye test.
Good scoring role in the tigers game plan.
Houli used to score well there
Rioli averaged 79 when he moved to that role late in the year
              He is a great runner

              Cons:
              Rioli was out
              Rioli is more senior
Short averaged around 60 his first two years doing that role at the same age.

My guess is if Rioli is fit he’ll play round 1. If Ralphsmith plays there’s the constant threat of Rioli.

        1. I was at the game Gunboat – he looked terrific. You wouldn’t know he was a concern -zero hesitation for the contest.

          1. Oh, excellent. Thanks, Willow.

Didn’t know you were a Tigers man.

He could pan out nicely as an F5.

            Cheers.

                1. Ralphsmith was impressive too, however – composed, confident, positioned himself beautifully in defence. Clean disposal. Cracking haircut.

                  1. Will he be the Clark of last year ? Looked great at HB then moved forward for the season proper. If he gets the role he could be worth a shout.

  5. Any know if Cooper is playing?

Stew sounds good to me, picked him over llllllloyd.. can easily switch. Plan is to have both of them at seasons end.
