  1. Just about anyone I can get my hands on thanks to the non-selection of McVeigh (VFL), Shuey (injury) and JKT (emerg).

Did I say something during the preseason about not needing DPPs until mid – late season? Oh, my kingdom (for what it’s worth) for a DPP in my Ctrs.

Don’t listen to any of my advice (except for this, of course)!!!

    1. heres an example: i have swapped my DPP’s mitch duncan (mid) with ROK (forward) to cover injuries to shuey and stanton in my midfeild. Rockliff comes off the pine into the forward line, while duncan takes his place At this stage duncan isnt a certain starter. I’m backing rockliff to score better than duncan anyway. Does that make sense? DPP gives u flexibility if you are set up for it. I have both Danger and Duncan in my mids and Chappie Dids ROK in my forward line.

  2. If, for example, you have a Forward who was selectable as a Defender AND a Defender originally also available as a Forward, you may now SUBSTITUTE the two between positions, without costing you a trade.

    1. When you click on the ‘S’ icon for a DPP, the available players to substitute will be highlighted (obviously, the 2 on your bench, but also anyone else on the field who holds the appropriate DPP status.

  3. I’m wondering who is likely to score more – Barlow if he gets tagged (probably by Jones) or Bastinac if he is asked to tag (probably ROK).

I know Bastinac scored really well last week when given the job on Kerr, but that was in a winning side and I reckon he’ll be a tad busier if he has to mind ROK.

  4. I’m going to put in the red nut Banfield in this week, after last weeks 96 I can’t afford him sittin on the pine.

      1. Yeah, had him since the start magoo, hopefully he becomes a juicey phat cash cow, so I can upgrade him for a premium.

  5. My mid rookies are: Barlow, Bastinac, Martin, Trengrove & Jetta.

Think I’ll go with those first three in my starting 22. Barlow has potential for 100+ if he doesn’t cop a hard tag. Bastinac has potental to score 100 or thereabouts even if he’s doing a tagging role, as we saw last week. And the tough one will be who to start out of Martin and Trengrove considering they may well be playing on each other on sunday afternoon. And who’s going to win? You’d think melb, but does that mean trengrove over martin? Any suggestions on that please motts, others?

  6. An email from footytips.com apparently, but no Freo supporters have heard about it so I’m going to ignore the rumour.

  7. hay boys, would love some advise,
    on the roo trade
i already have ROK, CHAPPY, JB
    my options:
    roo > reg grundy/cyril
    ball> ablett
    or
roo> grundy and leave ball for now
    or
roo for pav, goodes or didak. and leave around $140000 in my kick.

    1. ive gone for grundy although pav looks to be coming in to some form. if he wasnt playing the saints this week, i might have got on, but i have a feeling life will be touch for him this week. didak’s price is bound to come down a bit more in the next couple of weeks after a couple of poor scores.

    1. certainly throws something extra into the equation. must admit that im playing a good mate this week and probably used a trade when i wouldnt have if i wasnt so desparate to win this week and get one over him.
