Don’t abandon Jesus, if you have him, make him captain. The biggest threat is bomber not picking him, so have a suitable vice-captain and adequate midfield bench support.

This is like a couple of weeks ago against Carlton when Joseph was meant to keep him to 80 odd points and he racked up 170! If he plays he’s my captain and I’ll cop the odd bad week cos they’re few and far between.

i guess it was a gamble buying him. he has dropped in price and needs to score an epic amount of points each week just to maintain his price.
also, he is unlikely to play more than 18-19 games. remember he may have the highest average, but not necessarily the highest points total for the year. some people can’t afford the weeks where he doesn’t play.
i don’t believe he was that injured last week, he was simply rested.

Goran Tunjic, a 32-year-old defender playing for Croatian side Mladost, collapsed and fell to the ground after being tackled in the 35th minute of a game against local rivals Hrvatski Sokola.

mattner is better than selwood, he had a season average of 98 back in 2008 and 84 in 2009… selwood is rather unproven yet with season averages of 50 in 2008 and 59 in 2009.
