  1. Will Brodie looking good, Tim Kelly looking superb, Mitch Duncan dominating but probably because no danger, Selwood and Gazza.
Gold Coast looking much more aggressive with heaps of high pressure acts with Dew at the front

  2. Yayayayaya.

First time since Rodney Eade was hired as coach that i liked watching a quarter of a Suns game!

  3. Keep a close eye on Gryan Miers (117k fwd)
50 goals as a small forward in his draft year including 7 in the TAC grand final, and Geelong are desperate for more pressure forwards who can make an impact
    In my side currently

    1. Don’t Gregson, Mccarthy, Parfitt and Parsons all play a forward pressure role? Just because they were injured last year doesn’t mean they need more of them

      1. Out of those players you just mentioned, MAYBE Parfitt can find a spot in the best 22 – the other three were only playing because they had no other options for the role

        1. It makes the job security of Miers no given though. Plenty of competition for that role if any of them can start playing good footy. If he’s playing well enough then yeah he’s definitely an option but I’d prefer someone with less risk if they exist.

        2. Doubt Miers will get a game early although i do expect to see him at some stage this year.

Gregson, Mccarthy, Parfitt are all definitely ahead of him at this stage playing small pressure fowards. Mccarthy is a great forward for Geelong if he can stay fit especially and Gregson was class in his first years before his foot injury.

Add cockatoo and kelly to the mix of players who will play alot of forward time once Geelong get the big mids back in (Ablett, Danger and the Selwoods)

  4. Nothing to take out of the Cats performance so far but several Suns looking good – Hall (POD mid) and Holman (a lock for me for M11 position).

    1. Macpherson 112 for 15 possessions and no goals, lol.

Hanley was hard to find for most of the game and junked it up like an old pro in the last quarter. Holman is a lock at M11 and Brodie looked the goods (although expensive for a rook).

JLT2 will give a better guide on the Cats.

      1. Macpherson had like 62 points at quarter time with like 39% ToG. I have no idea what the hell he was doing cause he only had like 5 possessions and a couple tackles. Apparently he’s a favourite of champion data!
