  1. Kruezer has just rolled his ankle, hoping it is minor. He is walking on it so it should just be a minor strain

  3. Almost 3-quarter-time, JOM on 91, Matthew Kennedy on 79.

Charlie Curnow was going well, but has dislocated a finger. O’Shea spent the first half on the bench, currently sitting on 18.

Marchbank has been a bit quieter, sitting on 38 points.

    1. As I predicted last week, Daisy is no longer playing in defence. The SuperCoach gods clearly agree with Bolton’s decision on this, granting him 83 points (before anybody thinks about starting him… don’t.)

  4. Sicily is testing the no d*ckheads rule thats for sure.

Might have to put him on the pine in round 18 when he plays carlton !

Hoping Kruezers ankle isn’t bad. Currently in my side beside gawn as i feel all the other ruckmen have flaws.

          1. My apologies… it was actually Ed Curnow who spent 64 % TOG. Young Charles was on the ground for 81 % of the game; 66 doesn’t seem quite so great now. To be fair, he did cop a dislocated finger in the first quarter.

In any case, his role hasn’t changed, so I’m more inclined to base my assessment of him on the second half of last year than two practice matches.

    1. Went missing in the third and gave away a 50 which lead to a goal. Dropped a few marks he should have taken too. Looked to find himself in the right spots, I think I’ll take the punt on him as he still found it 20 times at 90%. Will just have to suffer the brain fades/frees against if you roll with him.

      1. I agree, Could step up to help fill the Docherty role, but at this stage as a Carlton fan I can’t see him in our best 22, with Mullet, Marchbank, Jones, Plowman, and Byrne all cementing spots with the likes of Kade Simpson.
If he does get a call up count him in for my team though

      2. I really need to come up with a more unique alias. Or sign up for the gravatar thing. I think I’ll just do the former.

    1. 8 disposals at 25 % DE and 3 clangers.

On the bright side, 5 of those were contested, plus he laid a few tackles and got a couple of clearances. He also kept his remaining teeth.

We may need to reconsider the confidence with which many of us have selected him – particularly given his high price – but whatever happens, he’ll still play round 1.
