    1. I suspect that strategy guides for future AFLW fantasy competitions will read something like this:

      “Rule #1: Pick Daisy Pearce.
Rule #2: Make Daisy Pearce captain.
Rule #3: Never forget the first two rules.”

    1. Well, this is embarrassing… up until late in the last quarter, we were even or ahead in scoring shots, inside-50s, and marks inside 50, but were still 25+ points down. These stats – along with the final scoreline – blew out a little in the final minutes, but that’s not really the point. If anybody ever tries to tell you that accuracy doesn’t matter, remind them of this game.

    2. I think I’ve figured out why the wheels have fallen off at Carlton:

Carlton 2017-18 with Bri Davey playing:
      (W-L-D):
      7-2-1

Carlton 2017-18 with Bri Davey not playing:
      (W-L-D):
      0-4-0

Yes, you read that right. Carlton has never won a game without Brianna Davey.

On the flip side, we almost never lose when she is playing. One can’t help but wonder what might have been this year had she not done her ACL.
