  1. What r people’s thoughts on Ben McKay Nth?
Thinking about trading rivers or Starcevich.

  2. If anyone knows, can we please add a post titled “Who’s playing rd’s 9-12” !!!!!

    1. Whilst we’re suggesting things. Last year someone suggested pinning the break evens to the top so it didn’t get lost in the other topics over the week and folk didn’t have to search for it.

Do we care this year given there’s going to be 1 day between rounds?

T/U Break evens pinned to the top is great
T/D Keep your opinions in your mask son.

  3. Saad looks like he could be a solid option. 8th overall Def, with an extra game up his sleeve. Only missed one game in four years, and still under 500K.

Any Don’s supporters out there with some insight? Has anything changed with his role (always been a running back) or is it just natural improvement in his 6th season?

    1. Mad bomber here. I got him last week for McAsey. You have nailed all the reasons to get him. His worst will probably be 80, and so reliable. He and Ridley in my def line…who would have thought !!

      1. I’m tossing up between him and Maynard as my D6, what do people think?

        T/U – Maynard
        T/D = Saad

        4
  4. Who’s the better buy this week?

TU: Parker – bottomed out in price, #1 mid at Sydney with JPK and Heeney out, but often has ‘purple patches’. In only 2% of teams!
TD: Duncan – Still a huge breakeven, so could be 510k next week

    7

    1. Parkers has
      Saints round 9
      Pies round 10
      the bye in round 11
and is going to cop the De Boar tag in round 12.

Geelongs draw isn’t great either in the next 4 weeks but they have north and no bye.

      1. I’d be reluctant to bring in Parker with his looming bye as well, however, he only shares a bye with GWS, so unless you have most of Kelly/Cogs/Whit/Haynes/Tom Green/McInerny, its going to be easy to sit Parker on your bench for a week and still field 22.

Duncan’s bye hasn’t been announced yet, and if he ends up sharing it with Dogs (Bont/Macrae/Daniels/Smith) and Lions (Neale/Lyons/Starc), plus Danger/Stewart/Simpson/Close, it could be hard to get 22 playing.

        1. Great points re byes Matt. We are all in the lap of the gods till they are announced. Only safe way to load up is dons/dees

          1

          2
  5. with yo yo out for 2 with the bye & doedee 3 give or take , look’n like maybe
    doedee > caleb daniel
    yo yo > zorko
    king (stk) > dusty
all with no early byes , they all look like the safest & best value options

    2

    2
    1. Adelaide are saying Doedee is a chance to play this week but unlikely with a short turn around but may only miss one game.

      5

    2. Where did you get the Doedee 3 give or take from?

      From the update yesterday
“Crows stand-in skipper Tom Doedee remains in the selection mix after scans showed his left hamstring injury to be low-grade.”
      Has that changed?

      5

      0
      1. wasn’t fact , just heard he did a hammy & went with an average
he’s done his job as a stepping stone

        1

        0
        1. Doedee chance to play this working according AFC, contusion to glut so not a hamstring issue. CD continues to be in solid form for the price…

          2

          0
  6. I wouldn’t let the draw determine whether you bring a player in or not. The good teams don’t tag. Richmond, Collingwood, WC etc just go head to head most games so the onballers have every chance to rack them up. It’s the ordinary teams that the guns have to worry about. Adelaide have Keays, Roos use Anderson and Sydney use Clarke.
As a Gaff owner you would know that he copped a heavy tag against Sydney and Adelaide and was unsighted but got back amongst it vs Collingwood. Look what happened to Danger against Freo – had Serong by his side all night.

  7. Looking at a couple of FWD downgrades for T. Berry and M. King.

    Best JS? (1/2)

    TU: M. GEORGIADES
    TD: C. WEIGHTMAN

  8. Also the possibilty that the AFL will add rd18 & ES V ME play a catch up game then have a bye. As you said Wighty ” all in lap of the gods”
I am planning my trades as if this wont happen.

  9. Upgrade time but cannot afford two.
    Jake Lloyd TU
    or
    C. Petracca TD

Both have lowish B/Es but prob last chance to grab them before their ceiling.
