Moved to Fremantle in the offseason after his best season with the Demons due to spending more time up the ground rather than being stationed in the forward line for the majority as well as Melbourne’s successful 2018 campaign. Ideally an upgrade target due to the tendency of key position forwards scores to heavily fluctuate which means he should be able to be selected when he dips to the low to mid 400,000 range later in the season.

Verdict: Upgrade target

  1. I never have key forwards in my team, I find them too frustrating, but I saw hogan attend a few center bounces in yesterday’s intra club, so because of that I will be keeping an eye on him

    1. Very interesting Dukes.

I did notice last year Goody used to throw Hogan into the middle
Early in the game / some quarters.

Hogan tends to get frustrated at times. He is sill very young
( think J Riewoldt a few years back) I think Ross might have learnt from Goodie and tried to relax Hogan by getting him a few early touches.

It will be interesting to see if he does spend more time in the middle over the JLT.

My guess is its just to loosen him up a bit before spending 90% time forward.

I hope he kicks bags and is vying for the Coleman.

      I know ” Tell him he’s dreamin’ ”

In reality I just feel he will ultimately lack supply as Freo midfield is very young and won’t win too many battles. ( Similar to C Curnow at Carlton.) He may simply not get enough forward entries to score enough to be SC relevant.

Thanks again Dukes for the report.
