13.01 win/loss differential with 2/3 seasons recording a 100+ avg in wins.

5.14 post bye/pre-bye differential with 2/3 seasons recording a post bye avg of 100+.

25+ avg differential when handballs equal/exceed 12 and contested possessions equal/exceed 10.

If Ablett is utilised more in the forward line in 2019 then Menegola should be one of the main beneficiaries involving an increase in midfield minutes and could potentially push a 105 avg. Historically he finishes the season well and with Geelong’s start against five Top8 teams from 2018 in the first 6 Rounds and only 2 matches against 2018 Top8 teams post bye then he should be selected around the bye period.

Verdict: Upgrade target

  1. When you add on his injury as of now and the fact he is touch and go to start round 1. He is definitely a great upgrade target, let’s just hope he gets a little drop in price so he is easier to get into the team

    1. What did he injure? I hadn’t heard anything regarding him.
Sucks, I was planning on starting him as my POD this year.

      1. He had a knee injury that gave him a restricted preseason. The last few weeks he has been in a scenario where he has almost resumed full training. Also it is coming in he is making the flight to Perth for JLT 1. Showing the recovery has been fast, but be weary he may not start off in top gear for Supercoach output

  2. You are an absolute star Adam pumping out all of these player Elite Numbers at such a rate with such detail for the SCT community!

We are constantly promoting your work on Twitter and AFL Feeds tweets them out every time a new set of player Elite Numbers go up on the site which we also retweet.

Adam Schwarzy just confirmed on Twitter that you are currently not on Twitter.
Adam I think it would be great if you joined the rest of SCT Contributor’s on Twitter as your Elite Numbers are a big hit with the Twitter SuperCoach community.
However, I do understand if you are not keen as it is another commitment in your life.

  3. Great stuff Adam. He will likely be the most sought after upgrade for the run home with their comparatively soft fixture.
TDA, you’re spot on mate. Adam’s contribution is insane. Read every single one and make sure I like and comment. Helps cement/question all my decisions and gives me added knowledge to bank. We’re all better SCers as a result.

Totally get not being on Twitter tho’. And I thought SCT was a time vacuum. Help!
