Feedback

Feedback. It’s the breakfast of champions and we love it here at SCT. We thrive on it. It helps us to continue to deliver you the best fantasy footy experience going around.

So if you’d like to help us out, could you please take a couple of minutes to answer the following questions?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

If you answered “Not enough”, could you please tell us in Comments what else you’d like to see from us?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Lastly, in Comments, could you please finish this sentence: “If there was one thing I couldย change about SCT, it would be….”

We really appreciate your help! Thanks!

  1. If there was one thing I could change about SCT, it would beโ€ฆ.nothing.

I’ve been a regular for a number of years but this pre-season and season so far have been unbelievable in terms of the quality and quantity of the posts and advice put up. The best SC site bar none.

Well done and massive thanks to all those involved.

  2. Absolutely LOVE this place! Can’t rave about it enough! Only feedback o can give is that I haven’t been able to take part in polls or coaches box from my iPhone or iPad only my laptop. Apart from that sensational job!

  3. Trying to vote for “favourite part of SCT” is difficult for a number of reasons, mostly because everything is awesome. But also because it changes depending on the time of year – Rookie Review now, Fallen Premiums and Cow Talk later. I voted for the Stats because I’m a maths geek and Nath does an unbelievable job of compiling the numbers every week.
Love this site, wouldn’t change a thing. Not helpful perhaps, but it’s true.

  4. Unfortunately SCT is a double edged sword. As an invaluable tool that I have used for many years and will continue to do so, the pure fact that this site far surpasses any other SC forum and no doubt will become bigger and bigger just annoys me because people I play against may or already may have found out about this and then my advantage will have been lost. You guys rock

  5. Thank you guys for the words of encouragement! We’ll continue putting the good stuff out there ๐Ÿ™‚

To address the issue with thumbs and polls – we DO have a number of small technical glitches with the site right now but we’re working with Chips Ahoy! to redesign it and hope to be able to launch it real soon. Watch this space…

  6. I couldn’t narrow down to a specific “I like” but I’d have added the pre-season stuff that I refer to all year, like FD Strength of Schedule.

If there was one thing I could change about SCT – not sure there is, now I’ve discovered how to search the archives, though perhaps the way things are archived could be even better, with respect to categorisation.

Fantastic work, not only by all the “regulars”, but also the insights from those who only occasionally offer an opinion – its nearly ALL opinion, and advice is only good if you take it.

  7. I’m retired and therefore can spend hours and hours on SuperCoach sites and all things football. There are half a dozen which dominate my viewing time, but SCT is my clear preference. Not only for the relevance of the information, but also for the ‘tone’ of the site. I particularly like its friendliness and the respect between posters – and on the very rare occasions an intemperate remark is made, how quickly it is shut down by a ‘thumbs down’. So a big thankyou to MJ, Motts, Schwarzalder and everyone else involved. Probably shouldn’t mention favourites, but as a former altar boy, mine is Father Dougal – every article has a gem turn of phrase (‘sacrelicious’. Ha! Still smiling).
If there was one thing – how to find stuff – but I note the CaptainOblivious comment about learning to use the archives. I’ll try that.

  8. I’d like to echo the positive comments above and add that the BEST thing about SCT is that you get solid information across without being complete and utter dickheads about it (like a certain competitor, who shall remain nameless). Please, please, please stick with the semi-intelligent tone, in place of the blokey horseshit.

I’d also add a couple other positives that haven’t really been touched on:

    – that you should stick with the written medium, most people do this stuff at work/watching tv/lunch break and podcasts are not a good medium for those type of users; and

    – I think owing to the tone of your website, your users comments are actually helpful and insightful and the fact that enough thumbs-down hide the comment is excellent (and probably scares off idiots).

In terms of products to offer that you don’t have, I don’t have much but individual game reviews would be helpful? I know there is the weekly review, but that is cursory (yes I know there would be a hell of a lot of work here).

I think you have already tried the Ask Motts or whatever on Friday arvo, which could make a comeback…

  9. Definitely agree with the people saying their happy with thumbs down hiding comments, I get real annoyed when someone puts a flat out negative comment up.
This year it seems the content has gone up quite a lot which is a good thing. Not everything is relevant to me all the time but im sure each different article will be useful for me at some stage this year. If that makes sense. There is some overlap but that just gives me different people’s perspectives which I like.
Just keep doing what your doing, we all appreciate it and we all are hopefully showing it with our interactive comments on all your articles.

  10. Love this site. There’s a lot of great info and chat here and you seem to keep the content rolling out effortlessly. Although I’m sure there’s plenty of effort involved. This place, and it’s writer’s styles, doesn’t feel like a site that’s trying too hard. No gimmicks, carry-on or free sets of steak knives. Just a bunch of super coach obsessives being normal people. Bewdy.

  11. Like Stevo43 I used to visit multiple sites. Not because this site isn’t great but because I was just be extra super duper thorough in doing my research. Then I realised (cue lightbulb switching on overhead) that I could get all I needed (and more) from the SCT Community.
All the articles are insightful and oozing passion for Supercoach. No blokey bullshit and everbody’s opinion is treated equally and fairly. In fact I venture to suggest that there is nothing much sexier than a ‘footy chick’ who knows her stuff and we, the SCT Community are lucky enough to have a few in our midst.
Keep up the great work Motts, Schwarzwalder, MJ, Father Dougal the other regulars and I look forward as always to pitting myself against the community. p.s. Off to a solid start so hopefully LOEC for me next year.

  12. Love the site. I use them all but this is consistently the best for quality info without unnecessary bullshit. Have only just noticed the stats page which looks great but perhaps that’s the only suggestion I have…promote these features a bit more/make them more prominent.
One question…so you have an sc group available for anyone to join? Haven’t noticed it mentioned but keen to join it if you do.

  13. Nothing to change in my opinion, SCT is fine how it is. Like a few have mentioned I used to visit other sites aswell, but since last year it’s been an exclusive relationship with SCT. All the info you need and if it isn’t there just ask and you shall receive.
Really like the written format and would have to say the best feature of the site is the community. The amount of footy knowledge on show is amazing and being able to get a different point of view on things is very helpful.
Keep up the good work and I wish everyone on SCT all the best for this year.

  14. Absolutely love this community.
The only thing I would like to see fixed is the thumbs up/down to be back to what it was like in previous years (just being more responsive without needing to refresh). Also, Don’t know if this is just me, but everytime I try and view this site on my phone, it will direct me to some scam “You’ve won a free..” page, about 50% of the time. Doesn’t happen when I visit any other site.

But to everyone involved, keep up the good work.

  15. Big ups to everyone here at SCT, both staff and members. You only need to look at some of the footy based pages and groups on Facebook to see how toxic online communities can be for anyone. I found this site just over 2 years ago and never have I felt excluded or out of place. There are plenty of ladies who love footy but it’s hard to own it at times, but not here.

    Don’t change a thing. ๐Ÿ™‚

… Except maybe the mobile site. I also get the same thing as Faybz with the redirects I dare not keep open for more than a few seconds.

  16. Nothing to change with the site, it just gets better every year!

One thing as a suggestion though, it would be great to see everyone get their own avatar’s “especially” those at SCT headquarters!

Keep up the great work, SCT.

  18. Just had a thought. We need an easily accessible fixture either in the left, right or top banners. Would be really helpful rather than having to flick elsewhere to see a fixture.

  19. I took a year or two off from SC due to losing interest, with 2016 being my (un)triumphant return. I’ve only been visiting SCT this year whereas in previous years I’d use bigfooty, DT Talk and Fantasy Freako.

I like the cold hard stats as well as opinion pieces. I read most articles published.

I don’t really like the caricatures/exaggerated characterisation that some of the regular authors use or find it particular funny – not sure if this is an in joke that developed in my year(s) off?? Reminds me of that Jock someone-or-other website for SC where the site owner pretends to be a rotund 70’s era SC genius
