What it means for the Adelaide: I don’t like to repeat myself, but the Crows need to show something. Their list is just not that bad to be winless for the season.
What it means for Essendon: They are a bit of a forgotten team, the Bombers, and they are not playing bad footy. They need to clean up the Crows in quick fashion and bank the 4 points.
Thommo’s Watch: After grabbing Ridley early in the season, I’ll be sure to watch him fondly as he (hopefully) racks up those intercept marks!

Watched Adelaide and Saints game last week and Adelaide had their chances and looked the best they have all year . Shiel, Stringer and Heppel all missing from mids and Adelaide playing in front of home crowd .
Need Laird to be best on ground after performances of Lloyd and Sicily and Devon Smith for Bombers .
Will be watching Merrett closely with his large break even and assistance he could be with Byes and Shiel back next week
