WHERE AND WHEN: The Darth Dome at 7:50pm AEST
SUMMARY
If either team is to figure in this year’s finals series, this is simply a must-win encounter against a similarly placed opponent. The Magpies, who are a game clear of the Bulldogs, deserve their favouritism given they have been far more consistent and boast greater depth of quality and experience. The Pies, who have won five of their past seven games, also appear to have at their disposal more potential match-winners, including emerging star Jordan de Goey, who in his past three outings has kicked bags of six and five goals. A Collingwood win would break a five-game hoodoo against the Bulldogs. The Dogs, meanwhile, will be sore after their comprehensive loss to Adelaide in a highly-contested, bruising encounter in heavy conditions at Adelaide Oval. The Dogs will hope they can provide more support for star midfielder Jack Macrae, who over the past three weeks has averaged 40 possessions (23 contested) and 11 clearances.

With the forward line IMO, being one of serious conjecture towards who are seriously the top 8 forwards this season
T/U….Is DeGoey worth a risk as a F6/7
T/D….Catta, don’t be foolish
Cheers Catta
Not with such little midfield time.
i’m beginning to like De Goey. It appears Collingwood are beginning to build their structure around this young and budding magician, in the same way the Tigers did with Dusty. Next year he will be a GUN for sure, if he remains a Pie. This year, with so few standouts it might just be worth the gamble. Confident young lad. Dick-ed, but confident@
NO LATE CHANGES
FINAL INTERCHANGES
Collingwood: Adam Treloar, Tom Langdon, Josh Daicos, Jaidyn Stephenson
Western Bulldogs: Ed Richards, Patrick Lipinski, Tory Dickson, Caleb Daniel
I hope everyone noticed the brilliance of Thommo calling it the Darth Dome haha
Legitimately surprised these whores haven’t named it: Marvel Studios Avengers Infinity War 2018 in Cinemas Now Stadium.

Naughton and Brayshaw to Rice and Dusty? Avoids the Murray donut.
TU – Good call
TD – Bad call
Not against dodging a doughnut but Dusty hasn’t been scoring well of late so there’s an element of risk there.
Understandable but surely he’ll score better than brayshaw? Usually comes home strong as well doesn’t he?
A friend of mine is a channeling spirit and she spoke to richie benaud about the renaming of etihad.
His response…..
“Marvellous stadium that” !!
Yes got him, piss of you are out!
WTF ???
Thought we were doing the 12th man. I’ll just be quite now.

Anyone having problems with Fanfooty ?

Macrae’s lost his touch, might not even make 70 by HT! Absolutely useless, trade immediately.

Macrae must be scoring really well for only 2 contested possessions. 88% efficiency helps that but im not that seems the same as what i have been watching.
Really want to understand the concept of what is classed as an effective possession and what is a clanger. Macrae turned over the ball and it was a clanger, fair enough. Before however he kicked the ball from 50 to the top of the square and it was marked in a contest by scharenberg. It was classed as effective kick but it is still a turnover except it was put into a dangerous position. This is what really confuses me
Note: this was at real time
data has changed since this post
This was being written just before half, so looking back to it Macrae’s efficiency dropped and received another clanger so im not sure i missed some while writing this or they changed his stats. Something i want to learn
40m+ to a contest is considered an effective disposal
Macrae getting bent over with SC/DT this week. Should make a few happy.
Yes, I am a little happy but only a little.
Last week just about every opponent had Macrae when he scored massive.
This week not one single oppnoent has Macrae but they ALL have McLean. At least they don’t have him as Captain
Hope Richards can keep going and I can loop his score and allow me to bring in Danger for Kelly.
up to 90 already

Dalhaus should’ve tonned up. Fucken hell Bont.
Howe 🙁
You can’t complain about a ton from a premo but…. let this be a lesson to the 2700+ coaches that brought Jack Macrae in is week! No matter how good a bloke is going, you can’t spend 727k on him. Patience is key.
If you dont have him and the opposition has him as captain when he goes big then you are not playing Supercoach properly. You have to have him to level the field. It was a Bad timing but still a ton.
You can have Macrae, but try and grab him for under 650k if you can. If you’re paying over 700k for blokes then you’re not playing Supercoach properly.
touche 🙂
Thank-you VC Grundy!
i hate you …. but thumbs up anyway!!
Macrae!!!
Frightening stuff <—(that ones for u wrighty)
That’s three weeks running I’ve liked the look of Scharenberg. He looks more SC-friendly than Howe for me.
