Where and When: Metricon Stadium, Saturday 11th July 2020 at 7:40pm (AEST)
Last time they met: Rd 17, 2020: Essendon 12.14 (89) def North Melbourne 12.9 (81) at Marvel Stadium
What it means for Essendon: A few weeks ago they looked to have no game plan but the Bombers are back in town. If they clean this game up as is predicted, Woosha may take over coaching from Rutten again!
What if means for North Melbourne: Things have gone pear-shaped very quicky and the Kangas need to win a match to steady their season. This short season could rapidly deteriorate if any teams string a few losses together.
Supercoach Watch: Simpkin is the big improver this season and is in many forward lines now, just like Ridley sits in many backlines. With the exception of Merrett and possibly Dylan Shiel, there isn’t a lot more SC cattle running around tonight.
Thommo’s Watch: Simpkin was one of my five trades after the break so I’ll be watching him intently. Go Team Simpkin!
Thommo’s Tip: Essendon by 16 points.

Need Goldie to do well as he is my captain
Phillips holding his own, but Goldy comfortably ton.
Final teams #AFLDonsNorth: Jed Anderson has been replaced by Marley Williams.
No changes for @essendonfc.
Go Aiden Corr!!!!!!!!!
Baffling that Smith has been bumming around lately. Suspended Zerrett last week and tagged Shiel tonight – still doing nothing.
Goldstein on 65 at the start of the third quarter vs Andrew Phillps 40
Goldstein on 72
At 3/4 Goldy is on 94
If McInerney not a late in tomorrow, I need to decide on whether to –
TU: Take Budarick’s emergency score of 52 by moving McInerney onfield & M Pickett to bench
TD: Or roll the dice with M Pickett onfield to score higher than 52
Pickett named on the ball, will want to prove himself after being dropped, Tigers should slap the Swans – field him.
can someone explain why devon smith got that score Andrew McGrath basically got the same stats? why is he 66 and mccrgrath 113?
Smith was nowhere near as efficient with the ball as McGrath was
I’ve got smith , but 52% disposal efficiency against 84% says it all.
Thanks for the td, that will change smiths score!
Looks like no. 17 coming up.
