WHERE AND WHEN: GMHBA Stadium, Saturday May 26, 7.25pm
SUMMARY
Just when you thought it couldn’t get tougher for Carlton, the Blues meet Geelong. On the rebound. In Geelong. And with the Cats’ biggest name vowing for redemption. Gary Ablett’s match last week was his least effective in his return to the Cats, but when you hear that he’s promised Chris Scott something special in his first game back at GMHBA Stadium in blue and white hoops, you stand up and take notice. The Cats were clinical in their performance against Greater Western Sydney at home in round seven after being made to look second-rate against Sydney the week prior, so last week’s insipid display against Essendon will have Carlton nervous. As the Blues travel down the highway for the first time since 1997, the memories of a 109-point loss to Melbourne six days prior will be ringing in the back of their minds. Brendon Bolton questioned his team’s effort against the Demons. If the players leave it at home, this could get ugly.

T/u take billings 70
T/d role with henry at f6, have a feeling he might get a lot of intercept marks against blues with taylor out
TU Take McLean ‘s 122.
TD captain Danger
Or Captain Cripps TU
Danger TD
Geelong v Carlton at GMHBA Stadium, 7.25pm AEST
LATE CHANGES
Geelong: Harry Taylor replaced in selected side by Aaron Black
Carlton: Nil
FINAL INTERCHANGES
Geelong: Jordan Murdoch, Sam Menegola, Jordan Cunico, Jack Henry
Carlton: Liam Jones, Darcy Lang, David Cuningham, Pat Kerr
Another late change… ffs
danger doesn’t look injured , but hasn’t got that burst of speed out of the packs that he had last year ..
Kelly on 2 @ 1/4 time , must be a roll change with gaz back , rage trade time ..
kelly to danger this round….robinson 173, three tons last night…whats hard about this game ?
Only watched 3rd Qtr. Kelly was playing full forward!
What’s the deal with Kelly? Another poor week. Makes it much easier to pull him out for Danger next week.
Traded Henry to Darling this week so I didn’t think he’d hit break even, looks like that was a poor choice at this point.
Happy to get Simmo’s first good score since I traded him in. Cripps OK but not great considering VC at this point.
Useless stat: Daisy Thomas is playing his 228th game, and first at Geelong.
Was looking to turn Doedee into Simpson next week but it looks like I’ll be turning Kelly into Pendles instead.
The writing was on the wall for Kelly last week why did I not read it.?…properly.
Traded Henry to Westhoff this week… damn
I’d have gone Westhoff after his bye… but it will be the right choice in the long run.
Having a closer look at Cripps’ stats.
7 frees against, 11 clangers… wtf?
And 21 contested possessions – looks like he worked his arse off and did some really dumb shit.
TU: Take dangers 133 VC
TD: roll the dice with Gawn C
I’d probably take it, but I had VC on Cripps so Gawn it is.
Should I:
T/U: Take Dangers’ VC score
T/D: Stick with captain Gawn
Ignore, just realised the bloke above me asked, and can’t delete as the delete box doesn’t work 🙁
man, Henry did it again and pulled out another big score when he was on the line … he must play SC and saw his own BE!! Pity I traded him out – held Banfield instead (went for the extra cash *sigh*)
