Game Chat – Saturday Night Football, R20

Written by Big Sexy on August 9 2014

Port Adelaide v Sydney (AO):  Port having had a rough run need to stabilise their season, but up against the form side of the comp.  Sydney wont hand this one over, but I think Port should be a real chance with their fitness and ability to win the contested ball.  Can go either way, but I’ll stick with Swans by 7.

Geelong v Femantle (SS):  The mighty Cats come up against the Dockers in another great game for the round.  Stevie J goes head-to-head with creepy Crowley.  Crowley had his measure earlier in the season, but back in Kardinia Park and Stevie beating the suspension earlier in the week, I can really see him coming out with something to prove.  This is another tough call, but I’ll stick with my boys, Cats by 22.

  12. In a tight Qualifying Final. Put the VC on Fyfe, who scored 120. Currently have Pendles named as captain. Should I use the loophole and take the 120, or roll the dice on Pendlebury? Other remaining options are Dangerfield, Zorko, or Beams.

    T/U – Pendlebury
    T/D – Fyfe
Comment – Someone else. Beams maybe?

  13. Silly question maybe but- can I use the same non-playing player as the emergency loophole & also put captain loophole on him too?

  14. I have a couple of tough decisions today. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    1. Keep Selwood’s 128 as a captain’s score? Or roll on Pendles? I did have a slight projected advantage before last night, but my opponent had Boak as captain. A whopping 162. Now that advantage is gone.

    2. I’ve benched Wingard in my forward line and Charlie Cameron on the field. Assuming he doesn’t start with the vest, will Cameron score more than Wingard’s 62 vs the Lions?
