Marshall is a long way from last year’s lofty heights!
to be fair, Ryder is there now … he didn’t have that last year taking his ruck time and points …
scoring is BS as usual – Max King takes a mark on the wing, bangs it 40 metres inside 50 to a fair contest, Saints win the possession and kick a goal … he goes up 4 points …
watching live scoring and match … and i’ve waited a couple of minutes for it to update with other scores updating for other players …
Been strange all weekend. I can’t nut it out.
The key word is bang (hoping).
no he kicked it to a contest – if you call that ‘hoping’ then most of the game can be labelled that. It was rubbish scoring on that play …
If a teammate marked it he would have been given top points, an opponent mark would have given him less and them lots.
kicked it inside 50, to a 50-50 contest with players one on one, Saints player took it to ground, picked up by another Saints player who kicked a goal … was worth more than 4 points. That’s for the mark alone …
All those Saints players would/should have got contestant points.
It’s the same when a kick goes towards a contested/uncontested teammate who fails to take control of the ball.
If you don’t remain in control you don’t get the points.

Is long injured? Been stuck on 26 for a long time!
Hah, probably not.
He was my “late” trade (overlap lockout-due to waiting approval) that cost me being banished to the public leagues for being one short at a time of lockout in Rd 1.
Nice win for Saints supporters.
Doggies have some serious issues to overcome I think …
