  1. Makes you wonder how Dawson could have had THAT much of an impact to score 122 points with only 4 disposals when you compare that to Gawn who scored 9 more from +4 HOTA, + 13 disposals, + 6 marks (+3 contested). I know, I know, only 3300 points to go around but still.

      1. While there are set points for individual stats (kicks, handballs, goals, tackles etc), in any given game, there are only 3,300 points awarded on field. Points are awarded normally but as the game goes on, these begin getting adjusted so the final points of everyone combined at the end of the game in 3,300.

        The points are weighed based on influence and state of the game. A goal in junk time can be worth +2 points if the margin is 50 and most points have been taken but players have been awarded +20 for a match winning, after the siren kick if there is still points to be given out.

        Games are limited to 3,300 so they all become standardised an independent of factors like congested vs free flowing and dry vs wet.
