Really happy with my score this week, finally had some big scores!! Also won 3/3 league games which is nice.

HEROES: Special shout-out to Neale and Gawn for absolutely killing it on debut! Apart from that, Hanners, Treloar, Billings, Dusty, Adams, Fyfe and Titch all killed it.

SPUDS: Still had a few spuds however. Dahl, Lynch, Roberton, Heeney, Doch, Stef Martin, and Yeo all stopped me from getting an amazing score.

I think The Salamander may have been killed and replaced by an incompetent lookalike.

  3. 2397/Tich/ a tough year

Well done MJ, an enthralling battle in LoEC2 … Sloane spanked me hard. My worst year in SC since I started. However, I love this site snd I will be back next year. Good luck for the rest of the year guys.

Just not good enough this week, 3/10 league wins, thankfully double chance in all but just makes it that little bit harder.

New recruits Gawn and Neale were superb along with Titch, Dusty, Treloar, Adams, Bont, Macrae and Greenwood.

Was really let down by not loopholing Lloyd and Ryan missing 57 points. Most of my opponents fielded Ryan and would have actually won 9/10 leagues had I done so too.

Can’t make mistakes in finals, forever punished. Ahwell, onto next week.

    I have won 5/7 leagues
Thought I would have a leisurely arvo watching Ryder score 96 points to enable me to win all but one of my leagues.
Little did I know that I was in for an excrutiatingly painful arvo watching him eke out 87 which won me one league but not the other of my close ones
BTW I am pretty sure this was my highest score for the season.
Fortunate that I have the rest (figuratively) this week as I will be carrying Selwood (no trades left) and probably be missing Merrett

Not the greatest, but Gawn killed it on debut, should have taken Fyfes score as vc and had Greenwood/Ryan centuries on my bench.

Still, got the W and the week off. Boom.

Neeeded 50 from Gray to get me over the line so pretty happy.Bringing in Lachie Neale at the last minute was a godsend,Selwood out next week hurts as did not need to touch my team as I hung on to Danger.

  9. 2400 / M Crouch

    How good is M Crouch!!

Went a Hail Mary double trade to find some PODs in a must win final in my main league that I made finals in.

    Pendles > Beams
    Witts > Goldy

Didn’t really work and lost by 100.

Tradeless from here on out but I’m addicted to this stuff so i’ll still be floating around posting my inane dribble.

  12. 2497, had Bont as vc so loopholed him into captain. Won all 3 league finals, but gonna have to trade Jelwood and Witherden out. Got 3 trades left so it’s going to be a long week deciding the ins. Congrats to all who won this week…

  13. 2465 – Fyfe Should move back into the top 10k.

Highest score of the year came at the right time. Won 5 out of 6 major Elim finals and 1 major Qualifying final.
    Won on all minor finals.

    Shout outs to Macrae 162 , Big Maxy 160 , Fyfe as VC 140 no stress there , Heppell 134 , Adams 127 ,Bont 123 , Treloar 116 , and Greenwood huge for a rookie 114.

      1. Thanks mate. Nank out for Jacobs worked a treat and Neale as Captain for POD. Adams, Macrae, Bont, Fyfe, Greenwood, Gawn & Treloar all went big too.

Highest score for the year, so pretty pumped. Won both of my cash league finals, but unfortunately lost by 37 points in my elimination final in Cattas SCT Challenge.
Heroes – Gawn, Neale, Macrae, Fyfe, Titch, Adams, Treloar, Greenwood
    Spuds – Buddy, Lloyd, Lynch
Selwood, Zerrett and Withers are my main concerns going into next week

  15. 2,393/Martin

Neale, Sloane and Greenwood brought me right into contention in my main league. Also had Macrae, Treloar, Adams Grundy, Fyfe and Martin score heavily or really well.
Went Martin to Fyfe back to Martin for C. Cost me 21 points in an 18 point loss. The agony of SuperCoach!!

Forgot to take the C of Dusty so missed out on Fyfes 140.

My highest score for the year but still lost my final in the only league that matters. Guess that’s why you have the 2nd chance

  17. Well done on all the big scores this week everyone.

    I got 2439 / Fyfe / stuck on 11th overall

Was hoping to get into the top 10 this week but glad I’m no further away. 3 more weeks to try get in there. If I finish 11th at the end it will be shattering to be so close. There was a little bit of shuffling with the people ranked around me so a few new teams up in the top 10.

Happy with most guys this week, was good to get Gawn in for Witts and see him go big, players I worry about like Hanners & Treloar went well, Loopholed Lloyd, wish I loopholed Buddy.

On to next week, Joel Selwood will be moving on before then, only had him for 3 rounds like a lot of people but oh well that happens.

      1. Haha I know Roo Bloke! I would end up happy, but I’m sure upon first looking at the result I would be shattered. I would go straight to the 10th ranked and see how many points I needed, right now it’s 21, then I would regret every possible loophole decision or trade or captaincy decision that could have given me 21 more points. That’s why I’m hoping to crack in, but who knows, could slip along way off by end of season.

  18. 2450/Kelly looped/1148

Won 8/8 inc six major quallies and one elimination. The other was a qually in Leeuwin 2 where I couldn’t even crack the top eight.

six over 120 and 4 tonned up. Stars were Max Gawnbig and Jack McCracker with super effort by Fyfe, Adams, Smurph, Tich, Bont and Kelly.

Non stars were Spuddy Franklin, Jarrod Not Hardboy and the Doc.

Need to move on Selwood and Withers but not this week with a rest in 7/8

  19. Score: 2303
    Weekly Rank: 37541
    Overall Rank: 20603 (20097)
Heroes: Adams, Bontempelli, Fyfe, Treloar, Gawn, Macrae, Greenwood
    Villains: Lloyd
    Trades Made: None
Trades Planned: Joelwood to a midfield premium; I might also bring Allison in too.
    Trades Left: 5

    Defence: 3/10

Docherty had his first poor score and first score under 100 in my team on the week I put the VC on him; Adams was good but no one else hit the tonne.

    Midfield: 6/10

Good performances from Fyfe, Bontempelli and Treloar were held back by the Lions Midfield Quartet of Rockliff, who redeemed himself somewhat, Beams, Zorko, (C), and Witherden; all not terrible scores, but disappointing in the context. Selwood was injured and will need to depart.

Interestingly, I gained 11 points by loopholing Docherty into Zorko, the same amount as I lost last week by loopholing Dangerfield into JJK.

    Rucks: 8.5/10

Gawn was magnificent and Nankervis did a solid job covering Witts.

    Forwards: 8/10

A lowest score of 85 certainly isn’t bad; Greenwood redeemed himself and Macrae was brilliant.

    Overall: 6.5.10

    Comments:

The big positive is that a lot of my poorer scores were in the 80s instead of the 60s. Scoring my second highest score of the season with Witts and Dangerfield out is a good thing, but it goes to show how poor I’ve been this season. Zorko has gone from a consistently reliable 110 to wild fluctuations over the past couple of months. Trading Luke Ryan out continues to severely bite me; despite Mountford putting up a decent effort this week on the bench.

With $150k in the bank, I can trade Joelwood to absolutely anyone; the big question is who…

Into 8 prelims and a semi. Crashed out of the Team@SCT3 elimination to decent score of 2528. Gawn and Fyfe great ins this week, and Neale finally paid his dues!

Will sit tight this week. Joelwood will need to go in a couple of weeks, and can finally use a loophole in defence, thanks to Withers. Watch Lloyd, Shaw and Ryan all spudded it up now 😆

  21. Eliminated from my money league. Thought I was home when my opponent had to get 260 points out of Steele and Sloane.
Just shows it doesn’t matter how good your premo side looks on paper.

At least I have two trades left if anyone wants to make an offer! !!!

  22. Got a mate who had won his cash league elimination final by one point. Then Sloane, who he had as captain, got scaled back by a point and he lost by the barest of margins. I’ll be checking on him later today…

Very happy as this score was one short, was looking for Witts score and couldnt find him then the penny dropped. Oh My. This sums up my year, missed Top 8 but leading my cash league for overall points..WTF. Part of the pool goes to overall so totally focused on that now.
Some gems, swung Luke Ryan onto the ground in place of Heater. Don’t know how but Jack Steele has managed to stay in my team from day 1 and has taken all year to repay the faith at the right time of the year. gold

  24. Terrible week. 2276. Lost all 10 playoff matches and dropped 883 places. At this rate I’ll be running Craggy Island again! I’ll never get off that fecking island!

Huge mistake bringing in McEvoy rather than Gawn. Have to use 1 of 2 remaining trades on Selwood. No way to get at the cash in my cows. I knew there would be tight trades at the end of the season, but even worse than I had thought as it turns out. Going to save the last trade to handle another season ending injury…..

  25. 2552/Gawn/overall mediocre

The Single Malts finally managed to fire, and I ranked 3rd in the ACT for the round. This has been the best round in my supercoach career of four years. It’s all too little too late for overall ranking, but it’s propelled me straight to the prelim finals in both my leagues, which I’m happy about.

  26. 2495 / Gawn / 3786. up from 4942.

Putting the V/C on Gawn early saturday made for a great start.

    Top 5 all over 140.

    Macrea
    Gawn
    Neale
    Sloane
    Fyfe.

    Bottom 5

Lloyd ( should of loopholed with Ryan ) cost me 57 points.
Doc ( whats he doing here?)
    Lynch
    Jellwood
    Dahl

I won all 9 league games securing the week off in 6.

Holding 2 trades and $178K but may need to use on one Jellwood.

Looking forward to getting Greene and Danger back this week.
