  3. 2043 / Neale / was 7480

Reasonably happy with 9 players 100
Undecided what to do with Gawn (if out as it seems he may be) and D Smith – maybe kick them both….especially if Draper isn’t named, but with the Bombers game not till Sunday, won’t know if Draper is in or not until after the Melb game…

Pretty even round with Macrae at the start and a nice big comeback over the last two games with Laird and Riddles contributing significantly. Won 7/10 leagues but still not in the eight anywhere.

  6. Looking like Laird being the key player that has elevated most teams with big scores above most others … great buy for whoever held him through his poor scores or picked him up this week!!!

  7. 1984/Neale/3262 (-653)

And so my plummet down from a career best of 1500 a couple of weeks ago continues. Narrowly fielded 18 after copping donut after donut as the round went on: Gawn, Simpson, Walker, Ryder. Then Cripps, Doch, Hurn, Shuey, Schoenberg and D. Smith put the final nails in my coffin. Ugh!

  8. 2,329/Macrae/1,239

I had a great round with the 22nd highest score. I’ll hopefully crack the top 1,000 soon.

At last, a good couple of weeks after a rubbish opening half of the year! Perhaps my season isn’t a total lost cause after all?

      1. The funny thing is I think I just still had the VC on him from last round, and forgot to change it. Either way, I can’t complain!

  10. 2302, VC Neale, jumped into top 100, ranked 83.

Very happy. Loving that footy is on to take our minds off everything else going on.

Some big scores from my squad and some original picks in MacRae, Laird and Oliver all repaying the faith.

Trades running dangerously low and hoping SC slings us a couple extra for the next bye rounds.

Absolute shocker score this week being outside the top 50k.
Ridley, Neale and Lyons were the only 3 to score over 102 this week.
I had Gawn, Whitfield, Coniglio and Williams all out this week and Doedee got injured so looking like I will need to trade him out as he’ll have his bye as well. Lloyd might be the target to go for.
Hoping I don’t produce another horrible week like this

  12. 2038 / Neale / OA Rank 67

Not a good score so fell in the rankings from 29 to 67.

    Very inconsistent – 10 players over 100+ but also 10 less than 80 (of which 4 didn’t count). No thanks to Butler’s 20 or Starcevich’s 11.

Butler will go this week, but with Doedee injured may need to again hold onto Starcevich.

Back to a best 22 this round! Looking to improve.

Good score again slowly climbing the ranks back to where I want to be.

Doedee & Pickett definitely gone this week

Just want to say a huge thanks to the SuperCoach talk contributors and community. Love reading the articles and comments and would never have got this kind of score without the data and insight!! Very happy right now, ranked 6th for the round and will be the shining light for this season that has been filled with bad choices. Long time reader of Supercoach Talk and you guys do an amazing job especially over this festival of football period.

Like the above posts, want to give a massive thank you to everyone for the effort, info and advice on this site. You do a bloody ripping job. I even like checking the game chats to see your thoughts on the games besides just SC info. Huge effort in a tough year that makes it so enjoyable for so many!
