  1. 2608/Grundy/was 5725

    10/10 league wins
    16 went 100+ or which 8 went 125+
    Cripps and Gawn on bench.
Laird, Fyfe & Kelly the only premo’s not to ton up.
Started great on Friday with Sicily and Grundy. This morning projected 2400 so pretty wrapped 😉

Congrats & look forward to the updated rank change

    2. Woah, Bryson! Nice!

Like that you consistently post in this thread each week, rather than those who only do so when they put up a monster score. Well done.

      1. Thanks guys
        Absolutely wrapped this round.
Had a couple of shockers pre byes but a solid run since

    3. So I don’t know what happened as all GWS v Lions scores were green but went up to 2612 – thanks SC

  2. 2380/Grundy/ was 238th

Only had 21 players with Boak out so happy with that

    Will I hold my spot??

  3. 2342/Neale/3962 still in lock-out

Had only 21 on-field thanks to Gawn missing, D. Clarke and Chol covering Boak and Cripps, surprising sub-tonnes from Sloane and T. Kelly and a trio of dud Freo scores from Logue, Ryan and Fyfe.

    All that considered, I’m happy.

  4. 2468/Grundy/ 15th overall
Bit disappointed even considering the score. Some great scores but a few sub par from my more unique pod’s to the other top players. Setterfield was good for boak sub. Fyfe, Ryan, kelly and worpel were disappointing but it was one dirty Hore in my backline that ruined would could have been!

    1. Can’t sympathize with someone who uses the word “disappointing” in a post about them scoring 2468.

      1. I can cop that GD, fair call. Its more about what i know the teams around me will be scoring on this one. Any other day i’d be absolutely stoked! 🙂

  5. 2,253 / Grundy / TBA (was 2445)

And with that, I’ve probably just undone all the good work of the last few weeks. Hore’s 3 didn’t exactly help…

I didn’t cop any doughnuts, so I can’t use that as an excuse. I just had too many players deciding to have an off week all at once.

    1. Update: the damage is nowhere near as bad as first thought! I’m now ranked 2,806. I was bracing myself for a ranking with a 5 or even a 6 in front of it, so as far as I’m concerned this is fantastic news.

Horror show. My two upgrade targets went off (Sicily/Heeney).

Oh well, still have 8 trades.

  7. 2590/Grundy/ with a donut !!!
Could have traded in Cameron which would’ve given me 2680 odd, thinking that is the best score I’ve ever had.Should break into the top 1k

    1. Jumped 716 places now ranked 366. Goes to show how good this website is, there’s still 24 Supercoach talkers ahead of me, we have 40 in the top 500!!

      1. Your not wrong there, always been the best site for advice. I just moved to 11th overall and once again its thanks to the comments and stats from here as i had no idea what was going on leading into this season! Congrats on your massive rank move mate!

        1. Great work e=mchammer. Glad to be a fly on the wall in one of your leagues (Man Can Dream).

Will be cheering you on hopefully all the way to the top.

  8. 2426 / Grundy / 5000 TBA

Relatively good team effort other than average efforts by Logue, Hately, Merret and L Ryan (again!)

Hoping to pick up a few overall positions. Really want to finish top 1000

Ps: Some big scores posted above… Well done

  9. 2470/Kelly/420

Really disappointed. All I needed was to follow the crowd for a safe Grundy VC and I’d have scored 2550…

    T/U will go up

    T/D will go down

  10. 2540/Grundy/was 3854
Won 10/10 leagues so very happy
No doughnuts however had to cover for Boak and Cripps with Chol and Clarke .

  11. 2354/B Grundy/ was 3773

Cripps missing again after grabbing him in RD12 so Hately was the replacement and Gawn’s non selection meant Hoff was switched to R3 to replace and W Setterfield was F6. Traded Daniel and Duursma this round to Hurn and Mundy and have 3 trades left and 180,000 so Sicily will replace Hore next round.

    12 players scoring over 100 with 7 over 120 (J Westhoff, I Heeney, J Lloyd, B Grundy, L Neale, C Oliver, Danger) and 6 below 80 (M Hore, W Setterfield, Z Merrett, T Kelly, N Fyfe, J Hately)

Hopefully J Kelly avoids an absences in conjunction with Gawn and Cripps returning allowing Hately and Setterfield to return to the bench for next round along with the inclusion of Sicily for Hore.

  12. 2182/Grundy/Was 810

Two shocking weeks in a row have sent me plummeting from 450 to most likely outside the top 1000.

Corbett covering Boak, Gawn’s donut, Merrett, Kelly, Fyfe, Ryan, Logue, Clarke, B Crouch all disappointments.

    3

    2
  13. 2489/Oliver/was 13K

Cracking the top 10K would be nice..

Clarry Oliver (C) was a hail mary play which paid off after Fyfe spudded up for a change.

Let downs – T Kelly, Logue, L Ryan, Fyfe, Rich, ROB, Hind
Smashed it – Oliver, Bont, Sicily, Gray, Goldy, Conig, Heeney, Lloyd, Danger, Bont, Neale

Lots of big guns stood up when needed…

  14. 2450 / Grundy / rank 2,352

With a donut so very happy this week! Going the risk on hatley score instead of taking Clarke was frustrating, as well as still needing to field Setterfield, logue and chol. But happy to have avoided some of the carnage this week

There’s some monster scores in here!

  15. 2442/Grundy/was 4093

Pretty happy considering I copped a donut with Gawn out. 7/7 league wins but can’t believe some of the monster scores above me.

    3

    1
  16. 2367 / Grundy

Pretty dang happy with that since Boak left me with an unexpected doughnut and Daniel and Cripps were on the pine.

Lost to a score of 2609 in SCT3 against Michael and he had Gawn and Cripps missing from his best 22 plus Logue at D7. That’s one impressive team!!

    1. Hey Roo Bloke,

Cheers for the compliment on the team, still 7 trades and 65k in the bank! Since the start of the byes I’ve been top 2.5k in 3/5 weeks and jumped from 8.2K to top 700ish.

I wouldn’t say I’ve done anything ‘special’ just a bit of: bye planning (still copped a donut in one week though); not chasing last weeks scores (rather by low and sell high); and not trading premiums in a form slump early in the season.

I’ve also nailed the trade ins in the last few weeks!
      round 14 in Heeney at 447k for a 90, 117 & 134
      round 14 in Bont at 524k for a 109, 130 & 146
Neale last week for a 151 on debut

I knew I had you when Boak was out, it was looking close until then.

Pretty happy with the 2609 which could have been more if not for hatley and picking a better captain. That being said, I can’t complain too much with a 126 from Marshall (as a saints supporter, I have no idea why there is talk of us looking for a new ruck!).

Good luck for the rest of the season and thanks for all that you and everyone else at SCT do!

  17. 2581. Grundy.

My best score in a few years.

Getting in Westhoff to cover Gawn was a masterstroke.

    Happy days.

  18. 2575/Grundy/was 11K-ish

Wow…for a team that hadn’t cracked the 2300 barrier all season, this was quite a week, even with dud scores from Zerrett, Fyfe, Sloane & T Kelly. Moving Hore on for Hurn was a stroke of luck.

    7

    1
  19. 2199/Grundy/was 14,075

guess I am content with this score considering I only had 20 players on field.
won 4 out of 7 league matches.

just praying that Cripps,Gawn,Boak and J.Kelly all get up this week.

  20. 2169/ Fyfe / 10k.

    2/2 league wins.

Main league (5th) had me up against 15th who was primed to beat me by 20, but with Jelly coming off in the final quarter I snuck home by 15.

Letdown by Boak, Hore and Fyfe captain choice but Cogs, Neale, Cameron, Williams and +104 brought me home, when he had Jelly, Neale (C), Zorko and Greene. Lucky to get away with it and keeps me within finals contention. Now to upgrade Hore with a Bewley downgrade.

  21. 2350 – Not a great score, but very happy!

Boak, Cripps, Gawn and Hore all not playing or injured

Big day today from Oliver, Goldy, Neale & Cogs got me 2 x come from behind league wins!!

  22. 2423/Grundy/was 2362

Pretty pleased given Hore’s 3, but am disappointed with myself that I went for Zac Clarke as cover for Gawn which has messed with my structure; coupled with Hore’s imminent price drop, I won’t be able to afford the double upgrade I was looking at. Ah well, that’s SuperCoach.

Well done all for some excellent scores. Bad luck to those who had Boak/Hore and any other number of disasters!

Is Josh Kelly ok?? Here’s hoping.

  23. Thank you freo. Best ever score. Lucky in a sense as i had boak out and copped 120 off Bolton. Ironically more than boaks predicted score.

  24. A lot of massive scores this week. If Gawn, Cripps and Boak has of played we may have seen some records broken!

    For myself I got
    2,416 / Grundy / 1986 (up about 900 places)
Was missing the above mentioned players and took a doughnut on Gawn.

    2

    1
  25. 2412 / Grundy / up 133 places to 339

Still too many spuds for my liking (Sloane, Merrett, TKelly, Jeremy “Never Again” Cameron), but you can’t complain too much in any week you move up in the rankings. Hopefully Cripps, Gawn and Boak are back this week and all those rookies can go back to the bench!

    1

    1
  26. 2148/Grundy/817 (down from 387)

Shocker. Cripps, Whitfield, Boak, Gawn non players. Copped a donut for Gawn and a total of 130 from coverage of the three others.
    9 @ 100+ (with 6 over 120) but 9 under 80 plus the donut.

    2

    1
  27. 2493 / Grundy / up 800 rankings into rank 913
Boak left me with a donut which was annoying but stoked to finally move into the top 1k, thanks community

  28. 2319 / Grundy / moved up 1300 odd to be just outside top 10k at 10,330

Sloane was disappointing for my trade in this week, copped Gawns donut, but covered Boak with Chol, my other trade in this week. And wishing I had never traded in J Cameron – now on my “never again” list.

Now if I can just get Cripps back onto the field, will be one off full premium when I welcome Hurn into my team this week.

  29. 2481/Grundy VC/1,835

Wanted to post as I went for my ballsiest trade move probably ever.

Friday evening, I was staring at the possibly of 2 donuts in fwd and mid line as well as the possibility of Gawn being out.

Threw caution to the wind and traded out Gawn for Lycett (Bines from fwd bench to ruck bench, ROB onto field). This covered fwd donut and gives me Lycett as cover for the rest of the year.
I brought Heeney into the mids , who covered a donut and is now able to swing between both positions via Hayden.

Plan is to bring Gawn back once he drops and hopefully ROB goes up in price a bit more so the gap isn’t too big.

Boak late out meant I still copped a donut, but tapped out my best score of the season anyway!

Hopefully it pays off in the long run…..

The journey back from 88,000ish after round one continues…..

  30. 2520 / Grundy capt / ranked 1583. I am happy with score but messed up trading in Z Clarke. I was thinking that with Tom Bell injured – Clarke plays every week and I have 60pt bench cover. I grabbed Clarke whilst he was cheap…….it now looks like I have donated a non tax deductable trade. Damn! The Hoff looks good now

    4

    1
  31. 2297 / Grundy VC / 26,000.

    Downside: D4-6 combining for a staggering 105.

Upside: Had just enough ($100 leftover) to upgrade Walsh to Bontempelli. (+40).

Observation: Zac Clarke is no Max Gawn.

7 trades left, and 3 upgrades so Stack will probably be M8.

    2

  32. 2163 Grundy VC, dropped 639 overall spots to 1372

My forward bench is an issue, Had no cover for boak. I was working until 5pm on Sat and didn’t get a chance to tweak anything. I work every Saturday so this isn’t anything different. And copped a gawn donut.

Was considering trading cripps and young to avoid one donut, but thought against it. My best hope this season is a top 1000 finish so figured I’m better off trading out a potential LTI at this stage.
Some poorer scores from some of my more POD types didn’t help either this round, merret and yeo.
    Bring on next week

    2

  33. 2444/Grundy/2694
Went up about 1300 spots so I’m making a run for the top 1000. Gawn out hurt as I couldn’t swing Lycett to cover him and ended with a donut.

  34. 2150 Macrae, dropped a bit in the rankings down to 17,800
No cripps, boak or gawn. And Hore got hurt.

Quite happy with that score. Looking forward to the team getting healthy

  35. 2223/Grundy/1499

Horror week for me two doughnuts with Gawn & Boak out and so many premo’s spudding it up=[

    Studs:
    Williams
    Lloyd
    Oliver
    Neale
    Grundy
    Marshall
    Danger

    Duds:
    Louge fielded over B.Smith =[
    Rich
    Houli (Yet again..)
    Fyfe
    Sloane
    Gawn Doughnut
    Boak Doughnut
    T.Kelly
    Jezza Cameron (Yet again..)

4 trades left 100k banked no clue tradewise what i’ll do yet waiting till Thursday for now.

  36. 2208/Grundy/2295
Cripps, Boak, Whitfield warming the bench, a 0 from Max and disappointing scores from Luke Ryan, Fyfe and Tim Kelly. Somehow managed to get 2 close wins in my paid leagues and hold on to top 2 spots in both. Will hopefully get some players back this week but may lose Josh Kelly. It’s never-ending!
