After the man carrying a bit more weight than he should ripped it up against the bombers I am tempted to go for Swan against the Doggies
Selwood if he plays, Pendles (on debut) if he doesn’t, and thinking about maybe Stevie J as a POD – remember last year vs the Dees?!? 199 SC points! Most likely wont go with him though…
Smurf for mine.
Joelwood if he plays if he doesnt then ill go Pendles
Murphy for me …. he’s proven himself as VC, now it’s time to shine.
Word on the street is that Carlton are resting Judd, Murphy, Kreuzer and scotland! anyone heard this?
With GAJ out, Selwood maybe being rested along with Murphy my midfield – especially in SCTTL, is pretty much non existent!
Just heard these rumours gang!!!! Not sure how true
T Rockliff pulled a Hamstring during training this morning on the AFL website.
B Waters for West Coast out for 2 weeks due to knee injury sustained yday on warm up practice.
I’m hoping the rumour isn’t true on the beau waters side of things.
I’m stumped.
Thumbs up:
Devon Smith & Clay Smith > Pendlebury & Pfeiffer
– Gives me Pendles as ‘C’ this week and every other while Ablett is out
– Increase in Average: 84
– Increase in Value: $61,100 (plus Pfieffer’s extra earnings after this round)
– Positives: Pendlebury. Leaves $250k in the bank for future upgrades.
– Negatives: Additional trade required down the track to upgrade Pfeiffer
or
Thumbs down:
Devon Smith & Sheil > Lewis & Sidebottom
– Joelwood to get the ‘C’ this week
– Increase in Average: 87
– Increase in Value: $-31,200 (minus Pfeiffer’s earnings after this week)
– Positives: 2 consistently high scorers (200+ each week). Keepers, no extra trades required unless injured.
– Negatives: Leaves nothing in the bank atm for future upgrades.
After writing it up i’m thinking Pendles & Pfeiffer, but i’ve been looking at it for too long and have lost perspective……..I’m surprised i haven’t broken my reverse trade function yet!
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Don’t have Swan or Pendles so it’s down to Murphy or Selwood
Is this the worse year for injuries yet?
Anyone avoid the carnage as yet?
This is BS, it’s round 6 not 16……Why are these so-called elite athletes being rested already. I understand it happening with 70-75kg rookies, but with seasoned players WTF!
Don’t all teams get a bye in the middle of the season!
Harden the F%#K up!
y does foooty hav an ovel shaped ball
Thoughts guys
Smith & Fyfe > Pfeiffer and Swan T/up
> Pfeiffer and Jelwood T/down
Or comment for another choice.
Cheers
I know that I’ve chosen Selwood, but I was surprised to not see Lenny Hayes ‘ name in the poll.
Jobe Watson VS Brisbane? (Without Raines)
Pendles 62 the other week has scared me off him for another Friday night. Watch him tear it up.
Thinking about new recruit Tom Hawkins Vs Melbourne at Symonds. Though I did learn the hard way last week with my own team Vs Melboune that no games’ a gimme.
Also think Buddy is going to tear the saints apart.
Hurry up and come back GAJ!
