De Goey and Quaynor appear set for multiple weeks on the sidelines after picking up injuries in the loss to Richmond and Roughead and Phillips could be in doubt after a costly loss to Richmond on Friday night. However, Adams and Greenwood could return against Gold Coast at the MCG on Sunday after being a late withdrawal on Friday night. Aish will undergo surgery on an AC joint on Monday but plans to return before the end of the minor rounds. Sier is likely to be unavailable again, as is Noble, while Moore will miss at least another week with a “minor” hamstring injury. Murphy will hope to finally return and Kelly is also being managed conservatively, but Reid faces an uphill battle to play again this season after another setback. Stephenson will be available at finals time while Wells will race the clock to return before season’s end. But the campaign seems over for Langdon and veterans Dunn and Beams, despite the latter to return to the club on Monday after taking leave to deal with mental health issues. – Ben Collins
