  1. I’m surprised Daicos didn’t get a run, thought he was pretty good in the intra club. Also would’ve liked to see Murray in front of Appleby, and Scharenberg before Oxley. Moore will have a run down back tomorrow in the Pies vfl intra.

  2. Just drove past the oval on the way home from work, Pies fans everywhere. Haven’t been that scared since the last time Michaelia Cash opened her mouth

  4. Did anyone else see the interview between Kingy and Leon Cameron where he said that Shaw could be playing on the wing more?- havent watched the game but can anyone confirm if this is true so far?

      1. I think he might actually be a good shout. I’ve read that half of collingwood’s midfield is spending more time back and I wouldnt be surprised to see him help fill the gap.

  6. Dawson Simpson did quite well tonight so that would be putting risk on having Lobb in your fwd line. Commentators were suggesting that Lobb had best odds for first choice round 1, but that performance puts tough thoughts into the gws coaching staff. Simpson also played that 2nd half with a 2nd ruck in Flynn so that may suggest that Simpson and Lobb will share roles?

    1. Yeah think he’s likely in for O’Shea in mine.

Was on my watch list already so That’s a good result.

      Perryman wasn’t too bad either.

Rather than a massive surplus of defensive rookies, things are starting to look a bit thin.

    1. Pendles spent a fair bit playing in the fwd line as a half fwd trying to replicate a danger/Martin as Collingwood have no fwd line but depth in the mid. Won’t surprise me if he plays as a half back or half fwd to fill in a gap due to that midfield depth

  7. Real worry for Bucks, while the likes of Carlton and Melbourne look to have a clear path of improvement going forward , Collingwood are still serving up schizophrenic performances mixed with mediocrity.A belting by Hawthorn , who are still in rebuild mode, should leave no one in doubt that the last 7 years have been a complete waste of time.Should be first to go this year.
