  1. Scrimshaw starting to put himself into contention.

Hows his lazy style. He reminds me a bit of Jack Watts. The size and talent is there, he just looks like he would rather be doing something else!

I’m not sure he will be worth his higher starting price.

Lets see if he’s named R1.

    1. Started off on fire with 12 possessions and 4 marks. He’s getting more of a run in the midfield is which we want to see, having 2 center clearances. Hopefully he keeps it up and produces a decent score, as we may be lacking defensive rookies

    2. I knew him as a young kid and he was exactly the same. Had a bit of an attitude too but he has grown up and is a nice guy.

  2. Looks like maybe him, or Jordan Clark at D5 at the moment.

Lets hope a few cheaper guys bob up this weekend. 🙂

    1. D5 FT?? Who on earth do you have at D3 and 4 then?? Mid pricers?

I’m struggling on how to get my lines balanced now with both premo rucks in – doesn’t leave much room in mids for +600K players …. and scarily enough it has me currently with Greene at F3!! …

      hmmmm

      1. Cousins may seem cheap and easy but they always cost you in the long run.

        Family, friends, abortions…

    1. I don’t think he’ll be a keeper so it’s pricey, if your happy for him to maybe hold a spot till the byes at about 80 a week go for it.

  3. With sis scoring low, laird failing to fire. Loyd still to play but was underwhelming last week. Whitfield was ok. Anyone thinking that the backline strategy of selecting risky players or break out players is a better option then burning cash on the premos when the are only just getting tons and will bleed $$$.

The new rules seem to be having a large effect on previously high scoring intercept back men.

I’m about to throw my backline out and start again.

    1. Established premiums often score poorly in the JLT. The only time to really take notice of that is if it comes about as a result of a major role change.

        1. I’m not that concerned about Smith taking points from Laird, but I guess Whitfield would fall under this definition. Still, I think the worst case for him is that he moves up onto a wing, which would hardly be the end of the world.

    2. as Salamander says – don’t read too much into – Sicily only played about half the game … the others would be taking it easy as well – no point getting injured in JLT …

      1. All the Adelaide players have been trying to get the ball in the hands of Smith & BCrouch that won’t be the priority in the real stuff

    3. I have only got one certain premo in the backs right now.

The thing is my midpricers are looking great, bar Williams

    1. pretty much – Hawks took it easy for much of the second half … rested their players to a large degree … as Catta said above “Clarko put the cue in the rack …”
