maybe wait for news on how serious brander’s injury is. also wouldn’t think he’d be straight back in if fit again as he’s been poor the last two, so i’d be tempted to trade him first as you may not see him again for a month or more.
Same though I don’t think his form dropped off anymore than the rest of the team.

AJ, With lots of questions being asked about Titch and Riddles this week it’s a hard call.
Try the maths, ie. add averages and BE and see which pair is most beneficial…..or just toss a coin, or if you can find a crystal ball.
Pls note disclaimer clause just incase the coin roles somewhere you can’t reach or see it, and you break the crystal ball coz you lost your coin…..
Probably wouldn’t bring Titch in the week he’s going to cop De Boer, but I think Hill is a good pick up.

Is Simpkin the real deal?
Even if he drops to a 95 avg from here on, won’t regret bringing him in.
Will need to hold Fyfe this week to avoid backline carnage of 4 outs.

I have never had a doughnut since playing this crazy game over 4 seasons.
This week I will cop two.
Bench cover non existent to cover the likes of Fyfe, Howe, Noble and Brander.
It doesn’t matter how I skin the cat I’m still copping two doughnuts.
The price you pay to get Big Maxy in and Pittonet at R3 after starting with Naismith.
At least I have Pittonet in my back pocket for an upgrade.

Don’t trust Haynes or Maynard, traded out the Bont before his price drop.
Noble and Brander the two doughnuts.
Got to play the young players without family responsibilities with the interstate hubs about to happen.
Went C Daniel as wasn’t game enough to take the risk on Maynard or Ridley. Hoping he can match their scores!
I’ve already gone Howe to Ridley to give me $138k for next week, looking to also make money from trading Fyfe despite not having Neale.

My thinking is he’s as cheap as he’s gonna be and hopefully his scoring reverts to his ave which has been around the 100 for the last 3-4 yrs, I think The good Father has a name for it.

Morning, Smurf.
Not a fan of the Laird pick. Crows are terrible this year, so his output has dipped as well – only tonned up once so far. If you can rustle up a bit more cash, grab Sicily, Haynes or Hurn instead. If not, Ridley seems to be hot atm.
Better MID options than Pendles as well imo. He won’t be top 10, Treloar comes back this week and he’s got a lower floor than most other premo MIDs. Seeing though you’re trading down from Fyfe, you can pretty much afford anyone. Grab Bont if you don’t have him, otherwise McCluggage, Oliver and Gaff are equally solid options.

If you think Simpkin will go 100+ for the rest of the season then he’s more important.
Keep in mind if Hibbard goes well this week you’ll want to trade him in next week as 114K rookies are few and far between.

Last minute whispers for anyone who still has Noble – someone talked to a friend who had a cousin whose sister knows a guy who was at the Pies scratch match today, and saw Johnny N. wearing a jacket and not playing.
With the rain in Melbourne today, could he possibly be a late change for, say, Cox? Fingers crossed for you all….
I believe he’s the first emergency so wouldn’t be playing in the scratch match whether he was going to play tonight or not.
All emergencies do not play in pre game events because of the possibilities of call ups.
You could roll the dice on Corr as a potential keeper or grab Hill or Young as cows.
Like the Corr selection, bringing him in with Ridley this week. I’m hopeful he’ll be my D6 or at worse a decent stepping stone
