  2. One grand final, the early injury to Cooney cost me another berth but oh well…
As for who I voted for, I voted for Jurrah’s mark over Goddard’s, was just slightly better!

  3. A average score of 2299 this week. Still enough to win my Prelim by 450 points though. Beat the other Prelim winner by 180 points so pretty confident this week.

I have one trade left which will be used for Pods. I hope Sandilands is back. If he is i am unbeatable.

  4. 2392 and am in the grand final in only my second year of SC. Beat Sheedy by 300-odd points. 2 trades to use and a very healthy list. Bring it on!

  5. With a little luck I made the Grand Final in 2 of my 3 leagues. 🙂

My second team scored a 2424 and came 1597 for the week, which I was reasonably pleased about.

In juries and suspensions will be a huge issue this week though. 🙁

  6. I managed 2,249 – with a 9 from Cooney and 0 from Patty Ryder! And also hitchcock as emergency for RoK. Won 2 of my leagues but lost the one I really wanted to win.

I have emergencies for Cooney and Ryder so should be okay even with no trades left.

  7. Very happy to manage a 2388 with Pav and Hayes on the bench.. With my main competition in my main league having a shocker and losing to Sheedy.. looks like I’ve won my league (well against my mates anyway).. bit a disappointment was looking forward to a big grand final match up..

Broke into the top 10,000 in style went from 10653 to 8,052. Pretty good result for my first full season of supercoach..

  8. 2069. Beaten in both Preliminary Finals and will enjoy this last round of SC footy.

Just want to offer up some massive gratitude to Motts, Big Sexy & Duck for the site and all the posts and interactions.
I had a lot of fun and improved my SC team, so cheers to you three blokes.

And cheers to Cameron F.K.A.C, PA, Deano, Rustee/Four S, Roo Bloke, Frosty and anyone else who helped with a team selection issue, or generally made me laugh with a post, or a shit stir.

And sorry to anyone who accepted any dodgy advice that I offered up during the year. If its any consolation, I thought it was golden advice at the time that was certain to work brilliantly.

    And, GO PIES 🙂

    1. Good on ya, HGLBCO. Thanks for contributing all year.

And indeed thanks to all those that made this site what it is in 2010. We had a lot of laughs along the way and we look forward to bringing it back bigger and better in 2011.

      1. After stumbling on this site way back in February, it’s turned into quite the ‘community’. You must be stoked Motts, et al – you’re all obviously doing something right. Look forward to everyone thanking everyone else this time next week.

        1. The ‘community’ feel to this site is what I’ve enjoyed most about it. That and the senses of humour of all those that contribute. Have lost count of the amount of times I’ve laughed out loud at some of the comments.

  9. Scored 2,552 to make it into the Granny in my league, other guy scored 2,263. Some good performances from Saints midefielders helped along with JB up-front. Captained Goddard which proved a nice move. Have two trades left with only a smidge of cash though I have some upgrade options on the timber with Ellard making me some cash……Big Sandilands waits in the wings also…

  10. 1087 overall. In three high ranking League Grannis & after 8 winners last week, sitting 4 clear in my work tipping comp. Good Year.

Bit worried about this week as could have problems with resting/injured/suspended of: Waters, Pods, Hodge. H Shaw, Chappy, Selwood, GAJ, Dal Santo, Jolly.

Also for those in my comp “No Talents” team looks sensational! Lots of DPP and not many of the above.

  11. so annoyed
    won 1 lost 2.
    2233
ROK got me a 0 with no emergency.
so it was a ok effort but i should have won at least 1 more game.
At least i have one game to look forward to next week
also my ranking is my best for the season 8875

  12. 2266 pts incl Ryder’s duck egg – enough to get me into 2 of 3 GF’s, including the highly ranked SuperRoach league. This feat is even more remarkable considering I came from outside the top 4 in both!

    Ranked 2015 overall

  13. Did anyone hear why Ryder was a late withdrawal? I’m just lucky it didn’t cost me a win… esp with Cooney’s 9, but need to know if Ryder will be back next week. BTW, 2369 with a 0, 9 and 71 from O’keefe emergency

  14. Hey boys
Unfortunately this will be my last comment on this site this year as I was kicked out of all of my three leagues but I will be back next year and hopefully my second year will be better than this one. This is a great site and can’t wait for next year
    Cheers

  15. In all 3 grand finals!
One trade remaining which I’ll most likely use to upgrade Bower to Lake. Hoping Waters and Podsiadly both get a week tonight at the tribunal. I’m coming 4,208th

      1. It’s the risk I’m taking. I think he’ll be back especially against Essendon at Etihad. But still not a locked in trade. Still considering Kelly or Duffield. Also it’s probable at least one of my players will be rested so I’ll wait and see later in the week.

    1. L.Brown – didn’t see that one coming. I think Fraiser cited him!

Glad Waters got off as is was a good clean hit.

  16. According to the MRP “the bump was not considered excessively forceful”. Not sure if Patch Adams agrees with this assessment.

Still, happy that my 22 is intact but i’ve lost JPod as fwd emergency (Phil Davis will now take that role).

Thinking a Malceski upgrade (100K to burn with my 1 trade).

    1. Waters did slightly leave the ground which was of concern.

Didn’t think of burning Esky but will need to wait on other selections eg Hodge & Heater.

  17. Just goes to show what a good judge I am re: Waters although the inconsistency from the beginning of the season’s interpretation is astounding. The contact was far more forcefull than that on Gibbs and he definately left the ground although I acknowledge there was no elbow raised. Muddy even looked sheepish after the bump when the Kangas remonstrated!
I really hope this contact is kept in the game however there needs to be consistency in application of the interpretation by the MRP.

  18. 2272, Gillard, 11,599 OA (2178.71 avg)
Made my last trade last week, HarryO (28) to Enright (133), so pretty happy with that outcome. Copped a couple of injuries which cost me a GF birth in my main leauge, or well.
Studs – NDS, Jude, Browndawg, Enright, Chappy, Rooey and BJ
    Duds – Brake, Varcoe, Waite
Unlucky – Coons, Mummy and Fyfe ( Who would of been my replacement for ROK, but Harves decided to have a bye against the Hawks, Prick)

  19. Managed a 2,432, my highest score of the year, but not my best weekly position. Hard to beat that 262nd way back in round 3.

Anyway, not in any GF’s unfortunately, but good luck to all those who are.
