The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the matches played in round 20 of the 2015 AFL premiership season. The following charges were laid:
Nathan Brown, Collingwood, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Luke Parker, Sydney Swans, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between Collingwood and the Sydney Swans, played at the SCG on Friday August 14, 2015.

In summary, he can accept a one-game sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Sydney Swans Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. The incident was classified as a two-game sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea enables the player to accept a one-game sanction.

Jack Ziebell, North Melbourne, has been charged with striking Jack Newnes, St Kilda, during the second quarter of the Round 20 match between North Melbourne and St Kilda, played at Blundstone Stadium on Saturday August 15, 2015.

Chris Masten, West Coast, has been charged with misconduct (biting) against Nick Suban, Fremantle, during the third quarter of the Round 20 match between West Coast and Fremantle, played at Domain Stadium on Sunday August 16, 2015.

In summary, he has been referred directly to the Tribunal for its determination of the incident, and he cannot accept an early plea.

Other matters assessed:

It was the view of the panel the contact between players of Port Adelaide and GWS at half-time of Saturdayโ€™s match did not classify as a melee incident.
