SCT buddy Rustee has popped in to provide a new post for us this morning. Thanks mate!
Although Ed Curnow has proved to be a very fat cash cow this year and has the
capacity to score tons everyday, he still doesn’t have that Barlow-Factor.
So the search continues to find the next Barlow.
Here is a player who finished equal winner with Stephen Clifton in the J.J.Liston
Trophy. He is also the first player to achieve the double of winning both the
Fothergill/Round medal and the J.J. Liston Trophy.
He was delisted by the Demons in 2009.

I see a lot of Supercoachers (myself included) are looking at some Mid downgrades given there are a few Fwd/Def options coing in the next week or two. As such, I see the three big Midfield options having played two games are Wright, Iles and Wallis…. if you’re getting one, who? Or else, if you had to choose, who would you choose?
Note: Consider Wallis was a Sub in his first game.

With Collingwood having the bye it opens up a few other choices for captain this week. I for one will have to sway from my usual choice of Pendes but who’s it gonna be for me and for yuo guys?

Copped a bit of criticism for not providing enough value in the multi provided in Punting Part 1 so I’ve addressed the situation here. Tell me what you think.
Gold Coast Suns v Brisbane – Gold Coast +50.5 – 1.91
This bottom of the ladder clash will be closer than the line indicates I think. Both teams have a lot of pride to play for in front of their home crowds and the GC boys will want to atone for the smashing they got last week. Give ‘em a 50 point head start and I reckon they’re good value.

Tough round to tip this week so I’ve broken my weekly multi into the 2 halves of the draw. First 4 games and my selections are:
Port Adelaide v Hawthorn – Port Adelaide +30 – 1.91
For some reason Port love Hawthorn. They’ve beaten them 3 out of the last 5 times and won their last encounter at Footy Park by 8 pts in R18 last year. They’re at home, their backs are to the wall and other than Dom Cassisi they have no significant injuries. On top of this, the Hawks are coming off the bye, Rioli’s out,

On the back of Roo Bloke’s man-love for Boomer today I’ve put a poll together on the players we most love/most love to watch. Funnily enough, once I started putting in the options for it I discovered that a lot of these blokes are captains. I haven’t included past players to keep it succinct. So like George Thorogood said: Who Do You Love?

Thrillers
Brent Harvey ($493,700, 129, 107.20, 90) – Remember last year when he scored 110 in the first game of the year and then 11 in his second at which point about 90% of the coaches who had him jumped off thinking his tired, old legs wouldn’t see him out another year? Over the next three weeks he slammed on 176, 109 and 110. Bit of déjà vu about 2011: he scored 64 in his first game of the year which I’m sure lead to more than few people trading him out again and since then has put up 102,
