PlayON – Geelong vs GWS

Written by Schwarzwalder on May 3 2018

As always, PlayON have a number of promotions for the weekend for our SCT Coaches to enjoy.  The first takes place during the Friday game where you can take part in a direct ‘one-on-one’ contest for $5 and you’ll receive free entry for any $5 game over the weekend.  The PlayON scoring system is quite simple to follow.  Where Supercoach becomes over-complicated with efficiency of disposal and so forth, PlayON rewards basic posessions, marks, tackles and goals.  So if you’re looking to win a one-on-one contest, here are your best bets for that…………

Jeremy Finlayson (GWS, DEF, $8.0M) – Great value for a player averaging 20 touches and four marks.  With the absence of Zac Williams plus half of the Giants lineup in general, Finlayson has been one of the more reliable rookies till now.

Jordan Cunico (GEE, MID, $7.2M) – Just another midfielder that the Cats have unearthed over the last year.  They seem to have an assembly line constantly producing these guys 😉  Has racked up an average of 19 kicks and five marks in his three appearances till now.  Represents great value once again.

Tim Kelly (GEE, MID, $8.7M) – Inside of Supercoach, it’s hard to go past Kelly as the #1 Rookie for 2018.  Another lazy 19 disposals against the Swans came on top of 20 disposals against Port a week earlier.  There’s enough rookies to choose from in this game.  There should be room in your salary caps to fit in a couple of premium players elsewhere.

Johnathan Patton (GWS, FWD, $11.1M) –  No Cameron, no Deledio, no Greene……Patton is literally the last guy standing in the forward line for the Giants.   Inconsistent as hell but should give the inexperienced Geelong backline plenty to think about.

Good luck, Coaches!
