Poll – Hanners

Written by Schwarzwalder on January 3 2017

About to turn 26 in February, Dan Hannebery should be entering his prime as a SC-Beast.  Hanners hasn’t missed a game during the last two years and has averaged 113 SC pts in that time.  Along with Luke Parker & Josh P. Kennedy, the Sydney midfielder has become an integral part of the Swans engine room.

Although he starts 2017 with a hefty price-tag, Hannebery’s prime asset is his consistency.  He only went under 30 disposals in six games during 2016, three of which were still 25+ (& all of which were still over 20+ disposals!).  Is he just gearing up for ‘Beast Mode’ in 2017?  Or do you see Hanners dropping off the pace a touch?  Let us know in the comments below………

Will Dan Hannebery hold his form going into 2017?

  1. Hannebery should benefit from the departure of T Mitchell as he could accumulate more possessions as well as playing more of a contested role which could push his average near 120. Currently locked in at M6 alongside P Dangerfield, S Pendlebury, J Kennedy, N Fyfe and J Selwood.

  2. Still tossing up between Hanners or JPK… Virtually the same price and average.
Will probably end up with both in my team come season’s end (like last year), but which to start with?

    TU: JPK
    TD: Hanners

    1. Jpk probably safer but Hanners has the greater growth chances. Jpk might also see a dropbdue to captaincy stress. Lineball call.
