Poll – The Seven Year Fritsch

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 15 2018

Jack The Salamander has asked the question of Bailey Fritsch (MEL) in the Polling Station and we’re only too happy to help out.

Jack makes the point that Fritsch has been scoring quite well since his role change at Melbourne and that he might be more than just a decent Cash Cow.

‘Since his role-change in round 6, Fritsch has averaged 89, with three-90+ scores (one of them was over 100+), and only one below 85.’

So what say you, Coaches?  Is Fritch worth holding onto until seasons end?  Or just upgrade him over the next couple weeks when his price plateaus?

Is Bailey Fritsch (MEL) a keeper at F6/7 or still to be upgraded?

  1. Keeper for me. Will loophole him and Boak at F6/7 once I complete my last FWD upgrade.

(and yes, big regrets trading in Boak three weeks ago)

  2. Upgraded to Gray this week. I figured Fritz will average around 85 for the rest of year, so took the opportunity to upgrade to a premium for a measly $79k, and get an extra week of scoring! Already ahead by 121 points!

  3. I’d love to keep him as F7, but the only other player to upgrade who’s worth anything in my forward line is Guelfi. Will be using most of my cash trading Holman up to complete my midfield, and none of my other rookies are worth anything for the forseeable future, so no way to downgrade to make enough cash to go Guelfi up to a premium forward. Instead I’ll probably have to go Guelfi down and Fritsch up. Either that or keep Fritsch as F6 and wait 5 or 6 weeks for rookies to slowly go up.

  4. He will probably be my last upgrade as he is averaging 90 and so bringing in a player of 95-100 average isn’t the biggest change in points. There are a few others that need upgrading first for more benefit and the fwd line is really tough pickings anyway. If I need to save trades he will probably be my F6 unless he drops the ball

  5. Averaging 95 in last 5 and 89 in last 7 that’s great for a F6 for now. Will keep until he has two stinkers in a row.

  6. Traded him to Buddy this week to avoid another donut, might be a mistake but he only has another 40k or so to make and buddy is a bit cheap right so I feel I’m probably only losing about 20k.
