    1. I dont really know much about webster but he came onto my radar as i brought him into my draft team as a last minute replacement for pittard when he got injured in JLT.
He looks like he is playing the very sc friendly role of loose man in defense /backline distributor. He also takes the kick ins.
I noticed he hasnt a played a full season prior to this year. Any saints fans here that can confirm whether this is because he has been injury prone or whether he has just been playing reserves alot?

    1. Yeah i only see 2 real standouts at the moment, McLean and Gray and i’m really worried about Gray playing more fwd time. He wont kick 6 in a quarter every week up forward, needs the mid field run. So really it could be only 1.

All other forward are up and down, even Heeney.

      Westhoff 3rd place?

    1. When it comes to ditching these backline rookies (doodee, Finlayson) it really comes down to your bye structure. Nothing really coming through that could carry you through byes with any confidence so we might have to consider holding one to help fill the side during the tough weeks. Having said this i’m guessing doodee isnt that rookie as Ade have the bad bye right?

    1. Missed him if you havent yet. Supercoach is about buying low and selling high. He still plays north twice before end of the year so wait for that hard tag and price drop.

Right now focus should be on Danger who is bottoming out

    1. You answered your own question, easy games coming up for Kelly. And no reason to rush danger back to the mid?? But yeah mainly Kelly will go up more than danger.

Try Holman to Danger if you have him?

  1. This not really a Polling question but can we have a feed on Bye planning?

I feel its a waste making too many upgrades pre byes if your upgrade targets will miss a game with the byes.

I’m trying to target Port / Suns players round 11.

    Then Blues/ Dogs/ Hawks /Eagles round 13 etc..

Some downgrades maybe too tempting to miss.

eg Phillips even with his round 14 bye.

As for upgrades, in a perfect world ,you would trade them in after their Bye.

It would be great to hear other folks thoughts on their plans for the next 5/6 weeks.

    Cheers.

  2. For those of us who have recently brought in Merrett, Matt Crouch can be had for just a $45K upgrade. With Merrett being as taggable as ever, and with the Bombers being less competent by the week, is this an option worth thinking about?
