Polling Station – Round 9

Got a poll you’d like to see on SCT? Just suggest your poll in the comments below, and if the community deems it worthwhile, we’ll have that poll. Easy!

Unlike our more usual TU/TD threads, the thumbs here are for indicating whether or not you think a particular proposed poll is worth having, not voting in said poll.

So, what polls would you like to see this week? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. Keepers and trades remaining again after doing this weeks trades. Great way to see how strong teams are getting.

  2. Is Martin Frederick still a viable option?
He has had a price rise and he now has an 18pt game in his 3 round system, not to mention questionable JS

  3. Really liked the Keepers and trades remaining from last week, was very interesting to compare.
I would like to suggest also adding
    1. Live rookies (likely to get over 250k) or dead rookies (not playing or never going to get over 250k)
    2. Rank.
    3. Cash in bank.
    4. Mid pricers (maybe)
I think this would give great insight into where we sit compared to others.

  4. Is it better to offload non playing rookies (eg Brockman, Highmore, Flynn) in order to give yourself a chance of fielding 18 players during the bye rounds or maximising cash gen by getting rid of fattened cows who are playing (eg. Warner, Kosi, Gulden) and risking multiple donuts during the bye rounds?

    1. Personally I am prioritising having as many players actually playing. Preparing for bye rounds already this way. Yep, may hurt short term but during the byes you can make up a lot of ground.
I would trade Brockman & Highmore as they seem a long way from getting a game.
Keep Gulden and Warner and Kosi as it was unrealistic for their scoring to continue the way it was but they are playing, JS seems okay and 50-60-70+ is not so bad for a rookie.

      1. One way to tackle the Byes is by trading dead rookies to playing rookies before the Byes or during the Byes sideways a Premium not playing in a Bye Round to a Premium and then sideways back to the said premium when they have had the bye and the premium you traded in has their Bye.

2 trades but premiums on field over 2 trades from dead rookies to playing rookies for similar or more points output.

  5. Thoughts on players like Darcy Moore ? Back in defence…
    Nick Hind? Has been consistent…

Mid price risks but with low trades remaining & cash gen a problem could get rookies off people’s field.

  6. Hey guys. thoughts on what to do.
T/U – Trade B. Campbell off the bench for Rowan Marshall
T/D – Hold Campbell for the byes
