Had the VC on Neale, should I take I take a risk with Titch or just take Neale’s score?
My main opponent had VC on Danger as well
Neale vc so 1/ 268 had Starcevich as emergency so will so swap noble for Lloyd unless noble is a late in after downgrading rowell to Aarts
Some people are just thumbing me down no matter what I write pretty much over this site rip all saints

Don’t worry, Sean. As Lukey27 said, don’t read too much into it. We are a supportive community , all here to help each other and share experiences, gut feel, tips. We just also have to accept that it is ok that people have a different opinion, as long as it is said nicely. We value all opinions so don’t let that put you off. If Starcevich is your emergency, just leave him there, unless you are facing a donut.

Hoping things improve from this poor start.
Think they were a bit worried about Parfitt in the slippery conditions after the 2 soft tissues injuries in the game already maybe that’s why the low TOG, I still like him as a pick.
Narkle 5 ……… not a good start to the round. Have Neale and had to have Starcevich on field.

Was talking to my ket dealer and he had all of Selwood Danger Simpson AND Neale (VC). Wow! He was so happy he gave me a discount which I’m glad Bc of all the holes in my pockets. HaHa!

Chameleon let’s say Gawn goes 160pts. Keeping Neale score, you only lose 26 points. Is it really worth the risk ? I am not wishing it but An injured Ruck could still happen in footy.

4 played, currently 363, projected 2140, Gawn as captain, no loophole
am i the only one who doesn’t loophole – for one reason or another? is it competitiveness? the general manipulation of a “cheat code”? you can’t handle it if you f up your choice of captain? you don’t know how or you’re unsure you’ll get it right? Curious as to what drives people to just not pick a captain and just wear it
Cause that’s how you maximise points but would like to see the V.C. go would make things a lot more interesting
Well if a player gets dropped or injured and you want to keep them in your team, you can justify keeping them by using them as a loop to get the best possible score to replace them and save trading them out(fyfe last week) .
As for the C/VC loop lots of people incorporate it with initial team selections. Everyone has access to it, not just some people. And it can backfire like chosing Grundy over Neale this week.
That’s when you laugh at people’s misfortunes.
Hardly a ‘cheat code’ when it’s in the playbook. It’s called ‘strategy’. Maximising your onfield points is not cheating. It’s how the game is played. What drives me to ‘not’ choosing a captain and just wearing it, is that I don’t have to. That’s why I have a VC.

I always log off and log back in to make sure my captain / vice captain / emergencies are all set and correct after I’ve done my trades etc. I’ve been caught once with my VC and Capt the wrong way round and it stuffed up my round big time. Lesson learnt the hard way. Hope you still win some league rounds regardless!
So annoying having such a great run as well with all my trades brought in Ridley currently ranked 3100
I also brought in Ridley this week and was such a relief to see him get through unscathed after my trade ins that were then injured – Fyfe, T Stewart, Sturt, & Howe. 3100 is a great ranking, so “shake it off” and start planning for next week!
Yep great positivity still on track to win 2 out 4 leagues at least

Odd night. I was riding high after I backed C Gawn in over VC Neale and Racca fired, but Hayden, Taylor and Smith combining for an epic 129 sent me plummeting back down to earth. Got some big names coming up tmmrw (Whitfield, Kelly, Lloyd, Bont, Macrae, Doch, Cripps), maybe I can press 2200?
Who knows at this point though lol.

In short, Macrae and Cripps have the ceiling but have been in poor form. Kelly’s in the best shape, but now there’s word he might cop Suctcliffe.

What happened with Taylor guys? He get injured?
Shiel gave him a decent bump to the head, he was in the rooms for a bit during the third quarter then played a little more in the fourth, but wasn’t himself.
Captain hasn’t played yet still have Kelly, Whitfield, Cripps, Docherty and Lloyd left as best options. I think I’ll go with Lloyd I’d appreciate any suggestions and reasoning behind it.
