  1. Great start as a hawker fan and fantasy man.

476/ 4/ Grundy (Will definitely be taking him as VC)

    Omeara, Sicily, Moore and Grundy.

Going to bed a very happy hawker tonight!

    1. PJ I don’t know how the f**k you got 52 trades this year (and they all seem to be genius moves on your behalf after the fact) but I will be contacting the authorities this afternoon. Expect a knock at the door.

      1. another projected 2450 shot down to 2150
another week in 2019 SC hell
unfortunately every one i trade in seems to go from a 100+ average down to a 70 the next week or gets dropped or injured
getting the capt right twice this year doesn’t help either
        that’s the difference between a team in the top 3k &a team @ 25k ,
        captains & rookies
as for my trades you probably confuse my comments on good value players as players i am trading in or players i am wanting to trade out
& yeh i traded hard early , because guessed wrong on my starting rookies
but i only used 4 trades through the byes when everyone else was using more
anyway i’m down to my last 17 trades now , so i have to be careful 😉

  4. Went to bed at half time last night, have been knackered this week.
    Typical Grundy VC, crisp, Sicily.
    429/3 Grundy banked

    Now, Please get up Gawn

  5. 534/3/Grundy vc to c.
Mixed emotions as support the pies and agree that Grundy’s score vs Mcevoys score does not reflect their influence on game on night.
Ended up trading in Hurn and Chol for Duursma and Young after contemplating Sloane and Crisp for Billings and Duursma for much of week.
With Hanners out thought It would give Billings more time in middle , couldn’t pass up on Hurn and with Danger possiblly a late out allowed me Chol as bench cover and could swing Moore into backline and play on field ahead of Logue and Hore.

  6. 1563/16

Was projected for close to 2700~ at one point today, but a series of bum scores tonight have significantly lowered my projection. Got Clarke and Chol covering Cripps and Boak, surprising sub-tonnes from Sloane and T. Kelly and then three dud Freo scores from Fyfe, Ryan and Logue.

Gawn, Marshall, J. Kelly, Satan Oliver, Cunnington and Neale left to play. Will need to absolutely nail my captaincy selection, still undecided.

Either way, still a great weekend after watching us [West Coast] annihilate Freo!

  7. 1437/13/Grundy

Players to come: Gawn, Brayshaw, Marshall, Jelly, Taranto, Greene and Neale.
Clarke’s 55 and Logue’s 50 still to be added to cover Cripps and Whitfield. Corbett’s huge 25 already included to make up for Boak’s late withdrawal.
My original projected score of 2600+ now likely to be closer to 2200 at best after eating Gawn’s expected donut Sunday.
Absolute carnage this weekend after a promising start Friday night. Expecting another big drop in ranking this round.

  8. 1732 / 16 / Grundy

Still to come – Andrews, Oliver, Coniglio, Williams, Taranto, Hately.

Eating a Boak sized doughnut this week plus Cripps and Daniel are also on the pine so reasonably pleased with the scoring. Westhoff scored brilliantly on debut as Mr Versatile in the ruck/fwd lines. Nudging 2300 would be awesome with a doughnut!!

  9. 1871/17/Grundy
Oliver, Kelly, Neale , Williams, Billings to come.
Have avoided any doughnuts so far however Chol covered for Boak , Clarke has covered for Cripps . Have kept O’Brien
as unlikely Ruck 2 for majority of season after trading Goldstein with plan to get Gawn at some point.
What a roller coaster for everyone this weeks with huge variations in scores and I believe this round will be season defining for Scters for a few reasons. Those that scored well , those who burnt important trades to score well, those that went against their overall strategy taking a risk that could work in 2 ways.
    Good luck everyone.

  10. 1584/13/Grundy

Was proj’d at 1781 yesterday, before Kelly and Fyfe posted poor scores, but am not complaining. As PBuzz alluded to above, I may regret trading in Zac Clarke who looked woeful, bar his 10min. Late effort. Still, feel v lucky to have avoided most of the carnage (Daniel, Whitfield and finally Boak!) this week. Only Cripps (Setterfield) and Gawn (Clarke at R3) to contend with.
Still have Gawn (Clarke 38), Oliver, Jelly, ZWilliams, Neale, Setterfield (Cripps), Hore, Marshall and Greene to play.
Particular mention to Darcy Moore (E) for the second week running, he’s tonned up!
    2500 (proj’d 2541) and I will be VERY HAPPY / lucky.
Good luck all on Sunday Bloody Sunday 🙂

  11. Good luck All Saints
While my score seems vey competitive in all my 10 leagues I noticed I am up against you in SCT League and you will be extremely tough to beat. , however while we are in a few leagues together you are always still encouraging and supportive with trade advice when I ask. I also had Moore on field as thought he is playing well however fielded in back line
With Hore E not knowing Boak will be a late out but at least I got Choi’s score.
Let’s see how Billings goes now , although feel a bit better now knowing that he would have been traded for Sloane.and he was under par this week

    1. With Hanners being ‘managed’ let’s hope he has a good one. He should improve with more MID minutes you’d think

  13. 1494/13/Grundy

Still to play: J Hately (replacing P Cripps), M Hore, C Oliver, M Gawn/J Westhoff, J Kelly, Z Williams, L Neale, H Andrews, W Setterfield (due to Hoff being moved to R3).

If Gawn misses I get Westhoff’s score and will be 1619/14.

  16. 2188 / 18 / Grundy.

Neale, Andrews, Williams and Hatley ( covering Cripps ) to come.

I got in Westhoff this week and parked him at R3.

Could be the best trade I make all year. 🙂

  17. 2,262 / was 238th

Going to drop a lot of places, but all things considered not a bad score.

I had 2x doughnuts due to Gawn & Boak, plus a handful of premo’s spud it up
