  1. Have those two so 225/2. Seriously considering switching v from titch to pendles…indoors against Brisbane. Weather gonna play havoc both here and in Adelaide.

    1. Good point Wighty. What a miserable day already and predicted to get worse!
      53/1/Dusty?!? Cripps(C)
Fell asleep on couch with the boy and didnโ€™t wake in time to put Doedee on for Webster, my bad. He was even projected to score 25 more this week. Doh.
Thanks for the thumbs SCTers. Correct as ever.

  2. 404/4 Mitchell into Kelly
Smith , Merrett, Billings and Hurley
I find it hard to not put Vc on Mitchell as despite wet weather .
Five week average of 147 plus plays well against Geelong.
I suppose it depends whether you need to take a calculated risk in league finals to have a point of difference. Reached my highest ranking for Season last round at 834 so keen to finishing in top 1000 however challenging given no trades remaining.

    1. Typical Melbourne. Sunny now and the radar looks ok but for the odd shower. Back on Titch for me.
Hopefully wonโ€™t need Grundy or Cripps to back it up ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. 225 – 2

I have to lock in Mitchell as VC and honestly don’t mind if he has a quiet one as 2 of my Opponents in knockout finals have outright just locked Titch in as Captain and the VC on Gawn. Somehow these coaches that don’t loophole snuck into the 8. lol

  4. 861 / 6 / Gawn …. projected 2541
seems I didn’t need to use my last trade on Selwood 4 Howe ,
very happy just moving into the next round with a projected 200 pt win ,
    Selwood’s last 2 V freo & suns both @ home ,
thinking of changing my capt incase Gawn dosent get up ,
    Gray , Yeo & Shuey
are all in play but I can go any of :
    Stef , Mclean , Tmac ,Walters , Laird , Cogs ,
Heeney , Oliver , Lloyd , Brayshaw or Cripps ( who burns me every time )
They’re all risky but am thinking Oliver or Cogs ..

    1. Hard one to answer Jeffrey. Same dilemma here. Leaning towards Cripps to bring it home on a warm, sunny Perth day.

  5. Definitely on for my worst score this year.
    1190/12/Titch>Kelly
So have used my C. May not get to 2000 and with a question mark over Kelly for next week, will likely fall out of the top 1000.
Ah well. Have had a great year really, whatever happens from here.

Hoping other SCTers are having a better week than me.

  6. Feel your pain All Saints
    1716/17 Titch into Kelly

2716 last week and was raanked 834 but have come down with a thud after being pumped after bringing in Kelly and Lienart for J Smith and Savage last week.
Swallow on bench as emergency but canโ€™t loophole his score. Played Degoey instead of McLean . Match winning performance didnโ€™t translate to Supercoach prowess.
Doedee couldnโ€™t replicate last weeks performance however had to play with Howe out.
Even if I lose 2 finals still have 7 finals I am in next week so donโ€™t regret using my last trades last week.
Thanks for all your posts All Saints and for being so encouraging and supportive of all sctres. Second year playing Supercoach and first year joining Supercoach talk . In 10 leagues however only 1 is part of Supercoach talk so would like to join more of these leagues next year.

  7. On ya P Buzz. First year on here too. I find it rather addictive ๐Ÿ˜‰
Like you in 10 leagues. About to lose two Elimination Finals despite being projected to win one by over 400!
And like you 7 Prelims next week. While it would be nice to win a flag (no cash leagues) am only focused on overall.
Donโ€™t mind a bit of friendly banter on here tho, should it pop up ๐Ÿ™‚
Your doing brilliantly for a second-year player so keep it up mate. As well as loads of SCT leagues to join, keep an eye out for Dead League (set and forget for the ENTIRE season) and TECH League (another great concept) next year.
    Good luck!

    1. Cheers All Saints
Definitely addictive and keeps interest in games that I would not normally follow. I will have to join in more often in Banter next year.
I think sometimes it is an advantage of not having played Supercoach previously as you have more of an open mind and take players st current form rather then having baggage of players that have let you down previously.
Never enough trades but would not have envisaged amount of injuries this year and went quite hard during bye rounds to keep overall.

  8. Cattaโ€™s Clan

    1442/13/Dangerfield

Still have McLean, Oliver, Gawn, Lloyd, Heeney, Simpson, Cripps, Neale & Walters to play today!

    Under 100…Wingard
    Under 90 …Westhoff, Laird, Coniglio,Yeo
    Under 80….Hurley, Hurn

With Billings 107 on the pine with the late call up of Keeffe coming in for GWS

Good luck to all those in do or die finals today, with so many premiums under performing at the wrong time of the SC season.

    Cheers Catta

    1. Good Luck Catta
its annoying when emergency plays and ruins loop hole on bench.
i will not use loop hole if non playing player is emergency as many players have been burnt.
Olango has been one of my most important non playing captain this year

  9. 1161 / 12 / will captain macrae or cripps

Trading zorko in with my last trade for gaff is likely to be a terrible howler. 65 was not what I had in mind. Just lucky I didn’t try loophole Gray/Hoff in the end as keefe got the late call up

  10. Hey guys another stressful day of SuperCoach. Have Brayshaw, Neale and Walters left against goldy, buddy + 91 points. Looks like itโ€™ll be a close one. My opponent has macrae as captain at this point. So Iโ€™m wondering what the community thinks, if I should try and match or risk winning/losing by going a different captain.

T/U – Go Gawn/Cripps/Oliver (maybe even Neale as a POD captain)
T/D – Match opponents captain and try win head to head players

  11. In 3 finals, 2 have used their captain in Grundy, the other has Gawn. I used VC on Mitchell so my Captain choices are Gawn, Macrae, Oliver, Cripps, Lloyd. Worried about a Banfield tag on Cripps, and Hewett tag on Oliver, so tossing up between Macrae & injured Gawn
    TU : Macrae
    TD : Gawn

    1. Macrae or Cripps. Donโ€™t think Cripps will worry too much about Banfield. Not big enough bodied to cope with The Beast.
      Good luck whoever you choose.

      1. Cripps for me today.
Leaving Gawn alone as he has a niggle and Roos will pay Macrae some attention even though Jacobs is out.
Cripps is in the zone and injury free. Almost untaggable at present as gets the ball himself.
