  2. Hey Mate:
    Tips Flemington Saturday.

Race 5 No 8 Don’t Get Excited Glen Boss
    Good Barrier should do well

    Race 8 The Turnbull
    No 7 Puissance De Lune
I am on the Boss again drawn Barrier 1 and is down 2.5 kg on the last start

    Race 9 No 4 Sessions

Race 10 No 9 Peron down on weight from last start and Nash Rawiller has the reins.

The best probably the first in Race 5 had some issues (They say Blood in the Nostrils at the end) When hit the front to fall off at the end.

    Hope that helps mate.

  3. Honestly haven’t had a good look at it yet for this weekend. Busy watching Bayern Munich dismantle Man City. Would agree with Wolfsburg though. Braunschweig have only one point after seven rounds and are fast becoming a laughing stock in the Bundesliga. Will post up some Bundesliga tips closer to Saturday.

  4. Once again, for those that need an extra winner or two for their multis, here are the Bundesliga tips for the weekend:

** Bayern Munich (1.60) – Originally I was going to stay out of this game against Leverkusen. After all it is 2nd versus 3rd, Leverkusen deserves to be there right now. Plus they were the only team in the League to beat Munich last season. However……..if anyone watched the first 75 minutes of the Munich/Man City game during the week in Champions League, you’ll know just what a safe bet this really is. After taking out the ‘Triple’ last season, there were doubts whether they could improve further under new coach Pep Guardiola. Those doubts were cast well and truly aside on Wednesday in a gala performance. It is frightening to think what they are capable of. And to think that their new signings Mario Götze and Thiago are still to return from injury…….mind-boggling. They always get up for these big games against the new ‘challengers’……..they will give Leverkusen a football lesson………you may never see these odds about Munich again in the Bundesliga this year. I think I’ve made myself clear 😉

** Wolfsburg (1.30) – Motts has already taken Wolfsburg in his first Multi and with good reason. They really pushed hard against Munich last week and ‘only’ went down narrowly 0-1. Braunschweig are a newly promoted side that just aren’t cutting it in the big time. Only one draw from seven matches…..simply not good enough. Wolfsburg will take out this game comfortably at home.

** Stuttgart (1.70) – I’ve become a Stuttgart fan over the time I’ve been here in Germany. They can be very erratic at times, shown by their opening three losses in the new season. Since then, with the help of a change in trainer, they have won three of their last four matches. The fourth match ended in a draw but only because Stuttgart missed a penalty at the end of extra time. (That missed shot on goal nearly hit me in the stadium). I’ll be in attendance again as Stuttgart should prove too classy for an ordinary Bremen side. Sidenote: The ‘Stuttgart Volksfest’ is also on across the road………like the Melbourne Show, but with Beer Tents as well 😉

** Frankfurt (2.50) – The value pick of the weekend! Frankfurt have gone from 2nd League to playing in the Europa League within the last two years. After a slow start to this season, they are starting to find their feet and won impressively during the week in Cyprus (against Nikosia in the Eurpoa League) with 3-0. Their opponents Freiburg are a smaller club who had a fantastic season finishing 5th last year. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t hold onto their best five players who moved on elsewhere in search of better contracts. That has resulted in Freiburg plummeting to 17th spot on the Ladder with only three points from seven games. Frankfurt are functioning better as a team right now, it’ll be a dog-fight but they should get home in a close one.

Good luck to the Punters Club!!

  6. Tough weekend for gambling, if it was easy we would all be rich.. I’m still sticking with Fiorente for the big racers.

  7. Looks like I’ve turned $120 into $45 with Tiger winning the most points for the US and Jason Day tieing for most points for the Internationals. I’m heading into the room of mirrors now to take a long hard look at myself.

Muttley was on track for a $300+ collect but Swansea couldn’t finish it off for him losing 2-0 to Southampton.

Next up is Hawker. I’m expecting some ripper Caulfield Guineas bets and maybe an NBA multi 🙂

  8. In the Guineas Long John has recent history for barriers on its side. The last 4 winners have all come from the first four barriers, with the last 2 winners from barrier 1 which Long John has drawn.
