  1. Going allright
DEFS- Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Doedee, Murray, Naughton (Murphy, Duman)

MIDS- Macrae, Danger, Fyfe, Mitchell, Cripps, Coniglio, Parker, T.Kelly (Holman, Brayshaw, Fogarty (ADEL))

    RUCKS- Gawn, Nank (Olango)

FWDS- Heeney, Mclean, Mundy, Smith, Fritsch, Spargo (Giles-Langdon, Guelfi)

23 Trades left with 29,200K in the bank

    Ranked at 1877

I’m looking at moving on Doedee and probably Naughton, they are the only rookies who are ready to be moved on but there are no downgrade options so unsure what to do
    Could use some help

    1. not many decent* downgrade options
is keeffe worth I don’t think he is a good downgrade option unsure

      1. Wondering the same thing. GWS is getting smashed by injuries so that probably helps his security a bit.

        1. I have a feeling Keeffe will get dropped this week for Patton. Mohr will replace Davis since it’s a like for like switch.

    2. DEF: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Murray, Cumming
      Bench: Naughton, Duman

MID: Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Titch, Oliver, Dusty, Kelly (GEE), Finlayson
      Bench: Barry, Spargo, England

      RK: Gawn, Nankervis
      Bench: Lycett

FWD: Heeney, Smith, Billings, Fritsch, Waterman, Ronke
      Bench: Guelfi, ZGL

      20 trades
      Bank: $239,400
      Overall: 40, 354

Made 2 trades this week Doedee to Sicily and Brayshaw to Cumming.
Going Naughton to Phillips and possibly Barry to Ainsworth next week then Billings to Gray in rd 11.

      1. Yeah, that FWD line needs a bit of beefing up. Bad luck with Hurley in the short term, but the rest of the team looks ok……..

        1. Yeah I know it does I’m going to work on it in the soon. None of my on field rookies have maxed out yet so I’m waiting for then whilst building a war chest prior to the bye rounds. I probably will be going slower with my upgrades as well during the byes.

  2. Howdy gang, I’ll start us off.

Team as at end of Round 7:

DEF: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Savage, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

MID: Fyfe, Dangerfield, Cripps, Mitchell, Oliver, Coniglio, Kelly, Spargo (Holman, Brayshaw, LDU)

    RUC: Gawn, Nankervis (Olango)

FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Billings, Fritsch, Guelfi (Henry, Garlett)

22 trades left. Planned trades for this week are Naughton down to Keeffe and Doedee up to Simpson.

    $1,500 in the bank.

    1. If Keefe is named for a 3rd game then it seems a decent move. Still plenty of trades to set yourself up nicely around the Bye Rounds……..

  3. DEF – Laird, Simpson, Hurn, Doedee, Finlayson Naughton (Mirra, Stoddart)
MID – Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Titch, M Crouch, Dusty, Cogs, Kelly (Fogarty, Coffield, Holman)
    RUC – Gawn, Jacobs (Olango)
FOR – Gray, Mclean, Heeney, Christensen, Fritsch, Waterman (Spargo, Guelfi)

    2o TRADES
    Overall – 15,706
Don’t really know what to do, a bit stuck from here. Wanting to upgrade Naughton/Finlayson and Christensen probably this week. Drop absolutely any suggestions/ feedback. Cheers fellas

    1. Tend to agree with Mick here. Would be looking at getting Yeo or Sicily into the team this week if possible. Jacobs will need to be replaced at some stage. He’s bleeding pts and cash & is a long way off Gawn & Grundy. Maybe take a chance on Ryder who will have bottomed out in a couple weeks? Don’t mind Hurn as a POD, numbers are holding up well till now………

  4. DEF: Laird – Yeo – Hibberd – Savage – Doedee – Murray (Naughton – Mirra)

    MID: Fyfe – Cripps – Mitchell – Martin – M.Crouch – Coniglio – Kelly – Holman (Finlayson – Brayshaw – Barry)

    RUC: Gawn – Martin (Olango)

FWD: Gray – McLean – Smith – Sicily – Fritsch – Spargo (Henry – Guelfi)

Ranked 899 after a small drop in the rankings
23 Trades left only 4k in the bank

Looking at moving on Naughton to Phillips next week and switching Finlayson to defense and getting Heeney in for Doodee via Sicily, still need to run that by my bye structure. Any other ideas people?

    1. Seems like a decent structure there…….reckon you’re on the right track with those planned trades for next week. Either Heeney up forward or Simpson down back…..

  5. Def: Laird, Yeo, Simpson, Webster, Savage, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

Mid: Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Martin, Mitchell, Coniglio, Kelly, Spargo (E. Phillips, Crowden, Barry)

    Ruck: Gawn, Nankervis (Olango)

Fwd: Gray, McLean, Sicily, Heeney, Smith, Fritsch (ZGL, Guelfi)

This team inlcudes trades done this week
    Doedee- Webster
19 trades left 17,500k in the bank
    Rank 127

    1. So backing Webster to be the real deal. Ballsy but i guess got to be in it to win it.

Also love how your side doesnt have De Goey in it

    2. Can’t argue with the ranking there so I’m only nit-picking here………… one thing that stands out to me is it’s going to be very hard to get Dangerfield into the side, especially if he stays above $600k. Otherwise you’ll have to sacrifice Kelly at some stage……..like I said though, only nit-picking…….

  6. Def: laird, yeo, sicily, doedee, murray, naughton (mirra, richards)
Mids: titch, dusty, cripps, m crouch, fyfe, coniglio, T kelly, spargo (holman, brayshaw, barry)
    Ruck: gawn, grundy (olango)
Fwd: gray, mclean, heeney, d smith, billings, fritsch (guelfi, henry)

21 trades and $240k in bank, currently ranked 2,475.

This week tossing up following moves
-Just naughton to webster or simpson
    – as above plus downgrade billings to ronke
-Naughton down to keeffe /cummings and billings to danger
    – as above but persist with billings and go holman to danger.

    1. Another option im thinking of is brayshaw and billings out for ed phillips and danger. I feel more comfortable with philips’ JS than cummings and keeffe and danger looks primed to go beastmode soon.
Would leave me with 19 trades and $120k in bank. murray, doedee and richards d4-6,
      T kelly at m8 and fritsch, spargo/guelfi/henry f5-6

    2. Naughton to Webster/Simpson & Billings to Ronke
      then next week…….
Brayshaw to Phillips & Holman to Dangerfield (might just be enough cash……if not, then Fritsch to Danger via Spargo)

      1. You dont think danger will go pretty big against the bombers? (as much as I dont want that to happen as a dons supporter)

  7. DEF – Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Doedee, Finlayson, Naughton (Mirra, Murphy)
MID – Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Oliver, Dusty, Cogs, T Kelly, Holman (Fogarty, Brayshaw, Barry)
    RUC – Gawn, Martin (Lavender)
FOR – Gray, Mclean, Heeney, Smith, Fritsch, Spargo (Henry, Langdon)

    21 Trades Left
    $172k ITB
    Ranked $4,875

    Depending on ins, I’m considering:

    1) Naughton to Keefe | Brayshaw to Danger
    2) Barry to Phillips | Naughton to Simpson
    3) Naughton to Keefe | Langdon to Westhoff

Danger move would just about cover off my mids aside from T Kelly upgrade, and stem the bleeding of crappy Holman scores.

Hoff into the forward line and I only have Fritsch to push to the bench as I upgrade Henry/Spargo.

Simpson move makes sure I actually have a starting 6 in the backline, otherwise have no cover at all.

    1. This week:
Naughton to Keefe & Finlayson to Simpson
      Next week:
Holman & Brayshaw to Phillips & Dangerfield (should just work out with the cash)

  8. 18 trades left, 5k in the bank, currently 14k

    DEF: R. Laird, J. Sicily, K. Simpson, S. Savage, T. Doedee, S. Murray (A. Naughton, E. Phillips)

    MID: N. Fyfe, P. Dangerfield, P. Cripps, T. Mitchell, M. Crouch, S. Coniglio, T. Kelly, C. Spargo (N. Holman, A. Brayshaw, D. Barry)

    RUCK: M. Gawn, B. Grundy (T. Olango)

    FWD: T. McLean, J. Darling, D. Mundy, D. Smith, J. Higgins, B. Fritsch (L. Keeffe, M. Guelfi)

I have a few less trades than I would like due to a few too many injuries and corrective trades. Alas, the goal now is to upgrade the rest of my onfield rookies to premos, with my main targets being Gray, Heeney, Dusty, MacRae, Yeo and Hurley. All subject to change based on who’s available for what price during the byes.

  9. Laird, Simpson, Hurley, Sicily, Doedee, Murray (Mirra, Murphy)

Dangerfield, Fyfe, Mitchell, Oliver, Martin, Coniglio, Cripps, Kelly (Spargo, Higgins, Holman)

    Gawn, Naitanui (Olango)

Gray, Heeney, McLean, Walters, Fritsch, Ronke (Guelfi, Keefe)

Round 9 trades: Oliver, Keefe in, ZGL, Naughton out

16 trades left, $100,500k in bank

Likely round 10 trades: Yeo, Phillips in, Murray, Holman out

    Ranked just under 8k

  10. Nathan’s Gunz

Most premo’s are even for the byes so hopefully i’ll be right one of my best starts in years even with carnage i’m going very well. I do quite regret biringing in Merrett in last week this is probably my biggest mistake of the year so far shoulda went Crouch 🙁

DEFS: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Simpson, Lloyd, Naughton (Coffiled, Murphy)

MIDS: Macrae, Fyfe, Mitchell, Cripps, Martin, Coniglio, Merrett, T.Kelly (Barry, Spargo, Phillips)

    RUCKS: Gawn, Martin (Olango)

FWDS: Gray, Heeney, Mclean, Smith, Fritsch, Henry (Giles-Langdon, Guelfi)

17 Trades left 40k Banked, Planning on going Henry down Naughton to Hurley in the next two weeks completing my backline.

    Ranked at 72 overall

  11. TU-Cumming
    TD- Keeffe

I know its not the right thread but a lot of people seem to be downgrading defs so I think this would help

  12. Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Doedee, Murray (Richards, Murphy)

Mid: Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Dusty, Cogs, Kelly, Higgins (Brayshaw, Barry, Phillips)

    Ruck: Gawn, Martin (Olango)

Forward: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Walters, Fritsch, Ronke (Spargo, Guelfi)

    Ranked 3300 and something,

    211k in bank

Doing Billings to Phillips and Finlayson to Yeo this week. Only 17 trades left 🙁 and have been smashed by injuries. Should be able to get Simpson, Danger and Gray over the next 3 weeks by downgrading Richards, Brayshaw and Ronke.

I know my trades are low but if I can get those 3 Without injuries in the next 3 weeks I’ll be needing 2-3 upgrades with 11 trades heading into the byes which ain’t so bad. Tempted to keep Billings but he’s inches away from being dropped and losing even more cash.

      1. Will

        I like your thinking But….

I just can’t get my head around your Maths?

Even if you find fresh cows for all your downgrades. Who are you going to upgrade?

        Doedee to Simpson will work.

        Fritch to Gray. Ok

But who to trade for Danger.

Higgins won’t be moo ing yet.

I’m not sure you will have the $$$

With Hurley missing a few weeks I would be looking at bolstering your Defence first.

Best of luck for the rest of the year.

        1. 211k in the bank at the minute

Richards down to cumming next week = 340k
          Doedee to simpson = – 155k

          Brayshaw down = 160k (means I have 345k)
          Danger in for Fritsch = – 270k

          = 75k

          Ronke down = 180k (means I have 255k)
          Higgins to Gray = 250k

          1. If I can’t get Gray I’m not too bothered, looks like more time forward might take points off him anyway.

            1. Also I’m getting Yeo this week and Simpson the next and Hurley is out for 1-2 so I don’t get your point.

  13. 18 trades left, ranked 1,377, bank: 54K

Laird, Yeo, Simpson, L Ryan, Doedee, Murray (keefe, Mirra)

Mcrae, fyfe, cripps, mitchell, oliver, bont, M Crouch, T Kelly (spargo, fogarty, barry)

    Gawn, Martin (olango)

Mclean, Sicily, Heeney, Mundy, Smith, Henry (G-Langdon, Guelfi)

Bit low on trades but ideally want to get Gray in after his bye but would love to get Danger for Kelly next week also. This would essentially complete Fwd and Mid but I can’t see much cash generation outside of downgrading Murray or Doedee to get this done and struggling to see any good downgrade options with JS. After this I would plan to hold very steady on trades.

      1. Geelong have a great draw coming up.

Barring injuries T Kelly is safe in my side till Round 14.

He has to be leading the “Rookie of the Year” race by a mile.

    1. You could always do Murray/Doedee out for Ronke (via Sicily). Would free up a bit more cash too. Fogarty/Barry to Phillips is an option next week.
Can then easily upgrade to Gray after his bye.

  14. 21 trades left 6k in bank. Rank 727.

Backs: laird, Hurley, Lloyd, Seedsman, doe Dee, finlayson (naught on, Keefe)
Mids: macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Mitchell, Maclean, dusty, coniglio, t. Kelly(Dow,Holman, spargo)
    Rucks: Gawn, grundy(Cameron)
Fwd: Heeney, Franklin, smith, Fischer, fritsch, Henry(ronke, guelfi).

I’ve had Franklin on the pine for 3 weeks and he’s not playing this week apparently. Do I move him on?
    T/u: yes get Sicily
T/d: keep Franklin and get Sicily another way.
    Thank you

  15. DEF: Laird, Simpson, Ryan, Sicily, Murray, Doedee (Coffield, Keeffe)
MID: Mitchell, Martin, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, Dangerfield, Merrett, Kelly (Spargo, Holman, Barry)
    RUC: Martin, Gawn (Olango)
FWD: Heeney, McLean, Petracca, Hogan, Fritsch, Henry (Venables, Guelfi)

Trades this week were Naughton to keeffe and whitfield to dangerfield

  16. Trades: 21 Salary: 104,100

Def: Laird, Yeo, Hibberd, Murray, Doedee, Finlayson (Coffield, L.Murphy)

Mid: J. Kelly, T. Mitchell, Martin, Coniglio, Cripps, Neale, Merrett, T. Kelly, (Holman, Crowden, Barry)

    Rucks: Gawn, Grundy (Cameron)

Forwards: Heeney, Smith, Billings, Fritsch, Higgins, Spargo (Ronke, Keffee)

Am seriously worried about my forward line and want to look at getting Sicily in, but unsure of the best downgrade options to generate the necessary cash! Pretty happy with current mid/ruck set up

  17. OK guys here is my team
    DEF-R. Laird, J. Sicily, K. Simpson, E. Yeo, S. Savage, S. Murray
    (E. Richards, L. Murphy)

    MID- P. Dangerfield, P. Cripps, T. Mitchell, M. Crouch, S. Coniglio, Z. Merrett, T. Kelly, E. Phillips
    ( N. Holman, A. Brayshaw, D. Barry)

    RUCK- M. Gawn, T. Nankervis
    (T. Olango)

    FWD- R. Gray, T. McLean, I. Heeney, D. Smith, J. Higgins, C. Spargo
    (J. Henry, Z. Langdon)

This week i went in trades Petracca and Doedee out for Sicily and Phillips in via some DPP

So I have 16 trades after this (after some correctitional and injuries)
Now i have $130,000 in the bank

    1. Although Sicily has increased considerably in price, he is pretty much looking like a must have & his DPP is great for future trades.

Petracca’s last month has certainly been disappointing & even though you would expect future improvement, I think it is time for him to go.

If Hartigan is back for the Crows this week I would be more inclined to hold Doedee & trade either Henry, Holman or even Brayshaw. Will not leave you with as much money in the kitty of course.

Going early on Phillips is a risk but I am sure many will take that punt this week.

With 16 trades remaining & barring injury, you will probably require 10-12 trades to get your team to full premo.

  18. Going alright I think definitely room to improve

Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Ryan, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

Mid: Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Crouch, Dusty, Coniglio, Kelly, Holman (Spargo, O’connor, Coffield)

    Rucks: Gawn, Jacobs (Olango)

Fwds: Mclean, Heeney, Smith, Curnow, Petracca, Fritsch (ZGL, Guelfi)

22 trades and 70.8k to spare, ranked 8820

Biggest problems are Sauce and Petracca as well as Murphy and O’connor wasting away on my bench. This week I think I will definitely be getting rid of Naughton for either Keefe or Phillips and then my other trade will either be Olango > Crossley for cover/cash generation or Petracca > Oliver/someone else with a r13 bye

  19. Current rank is 57,946 after dropping about 15,000 spots last round.

21 trades left with $523,300 in the bank.
Was on holiday last week so did a double downgrade.

DEF- Laird, Hurley, Hibberd, Doedee, Murray, Naughton (Duman, Mirra)

MID- Fyfe, Mitchell, Martin, Coniglio, Merrett, Dahlhaus, T. Kelly, Finlayson (L. Fogarty, Holman, Spargo)

    Gawn, Jacobs (McInerney)

FWD- McLean, Heeney, Smith, Billings, Fritsch, Henry (Giles-Langdon, Guelfi)

Probably trade out Naughton and maybe Holman to bring in either Yeo or Sicily and Oliver.

Let me know what ya think as my team needs a paddle for the creek it’s stuck in.

    1. Dahlhaus definitely has to get out of your midfield – trade Billings to a gun midfielder (Oliver, Danger are great value right now) by swapping Dahlhaus forward via DPP. Then upgrade Finlayson to another gun mid with the cash you have left. Zorko is a genuine fallen premo at great value, and you’ll be adding a ton of points.

  20. Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Seedsman, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Coffield)

MID: Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Mitchell, Martin, Coniglio, Kelly, Merrett (Holman, Banfield, Barry)

    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (McInerney)

FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Spargo, Fritsch, Stephenson (Henry, Guielf)

    22 trades left. Pl

    $1,500 in the bank

  21. Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Seedsman, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Coffield)

MID: Fyfe, Macrae, Cripps, Mitchell, Martin, Coniglio, Kelly, Merrett (Holman, Banfield, Barry)

    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (McInerney)

FWD: McLean, Heeney, Smith, Spargo, Fritsch, Stephenson (Henry, Guielf)

    14 trades left.

    $610,000 in the bank

    1. Only 14 trades is very concerning although with all that money to spare I would be looking at double upgrades this week. Naughton/Banfield if you can afford it

  22. Hi there so currently ranked 11,618, trades left 18 and current salary left is 15k.

Defence- Laird, Sicily, Hurley, Howe, Doedee, Richards (Cole, Murphy)

Midfield- Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Dusty, Cogs, Jarryd Lyons( pod which isn’t really working), Tim Kelly, Spargo (Brayshaw, Holman, Barry)

    Ruck- Grundy, Gawn (Olango)

Forward- Heeney, McLean, Devon Smith, Billings, Petracca, Fritsch (English, ZGL)

    – In terms of trading out, planning to pick around Petracca, billings, English, Lyons (make way for macrae? Or keep due to byes advantage), Barry, doedee

-In terms of trading in, Ed Phillips, danger, Simpson or yeo, ronke (too late?)

Feedback would mean a lot! Cheers!

    1. I’d keep Lyons (and Holman) now for the byes.
Def and Mid lines look pretty good for byes and DEF is strong line too.
I’d do Brayshaw for Phillips now and put him at M8.
How much cash does that leave you?
Personally I would do Petracca to Ronke as well. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Petracca will likely drop another $30k this week and Ronke will make a fair bit more than that.
That will leave you enough cash to trade Billings to Gray after his bye. Hopefully Billings will be dropped this week so you won’t heamorrhage any more money!
      Good luck with it!

  23. Def: Laird, Yeo, LLoyd, Hibberd, Doedee, Murray (Keefe, Richards)

Mid: Fyfe, Mitchell, Crouch, Martin, Congilio, Merrett, Kelly, Holman (Spargo, Fogarty)

    Rucks: Gawn, Goldstein (Cameron)

Fwd: Gray, Sicily, Heeney, Smith, Billings, Higgins (Guelfi, Henry)

    20 Trades left $2k

    R. Laird, J. Sicily, E. Yeo, T. Doedee, J. Finlayson, S. Murray.
    (A. Naughton, L. Murphy)
    N. Fyfe, P. Cripps, Titch, C. Oliver, M. Bontempelli, D. Martin, T. Kelly, N. Holman.
    (J. Cunico, B. Banfield, D. Barry)
    M. Gawn, N. Naitanui.
    (B. Crossley)
    L. Franklin, D. Smith, C. Petracca, J. Billings, J. Henry, Z. Giles-Langdon.
    (C. Spargo, M. Guelfi)

    Trades: 22
    Cash: $467,600
Any help needed because i am very confused as there is many form and injury problems in my team right now.

    1. Move Spargo and Petracca to the mids and get McLean and the next best forward (or dpp Sicily to Simpson)
      Goodbye to Banfield and Holman.

Will really strengthen your lineup. Have to hope you premiums come good at the price they’ve fallen to. Rookies are mooing so move them on if you can. No point too much cash sitting in the bank. Use it this week bro

    2. Well the number of trades left is good news! How about this week Banfield and Naughton out and Danger and Keefe (if named) in. Bank for round 10 $295,600. Then Cunico and ZGL out, switch Sicily forward, Simpson and Phillips in. Should still be a bank of $150,000 plus for round 11.

  25. Def: Laird, Simpson, Lloyd, Doedee, Finlayson, Murray (Cole, Murphy)

Mid: Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Oliver, Mitchell, Dusty, Coniglio, Kelly (Phillips, Brayshaw, Barry)

    Ruc: Gawn, Grundy (Cameron)

Fwd: Gray, Sicily, Heeney, Smith, Fritsch, Spargo (Henry, Guelfi)

includes this weeks trades: Naughton ad Christensen to Phillips and Oliver
    18 trades remaining, 26k left
    Rank: 539

  26. 1st trade- Petracca to Eddie Phillips

2nd trade-Tim English to Kade Simpson via Sicily loophole

    Yes or No

  27. DEF: Laird, Savage, Doedee, Finlayson, Murray, Naughton (Mirra, Murphy)
MID: Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Titch, Martin, Heeney, Cogs, Kelly (Holman, Brayshaw, Spargo)
    RUC: Gawn, Martin (Olango)
FWD: Gray, McLean, Sicily, Smith, Fritsch, Waterman (Henry, ZGL)

    Trades: Thinking Naughton to Simmo
Finlayson to Ed Phillips via Sicily to DEF and Heeney back to FWD
Preferred target is Oliver in the MID but can’t seem to jiggle things around.

    21 trades
    Rank: 5978

    1. You need to trade Holman to Phillips giving you 150k
That’s 275k to move Sicily back for Naughton. That’s should be enough for Oliver.
If you want or need to trade finlayson or Doedee then it’s ok. Hopefully Naughton doesn’t play and stays the same price. Cumming from Gws next week

  28. Season Rank: 45,395
Absolute stinker of a season so far.

DEF: Laird, Sicily, Howe, Hibberd, Murray, Cole (Cumming, Murphy)

MID: Fyfe, Danger, Neale, Mitchell, Oliver, Merrett, Kelly (Gee), Stephenson (Brayshaw, Barry, Spargo)

    RUCK: Gawn, Nank (English)

FWD: Mclean, Heeney, Smith, Petracca, Billings, Fritsch (ZGL, Guelfi)

20 trades left, $85.2k in the bank

Plan on going one up/one down next week (probably bringing in Kade to help with byes.)
Or depending on rookies, maybe double down to building a war chest for byes.

  29. Alright lads, feast your eyes on TiddlyWinks FC.

DEF – Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Howe, Simpson, Murray (Mirra, Murphy)

If you guys have any better trade ideas than the ones I’ve already done, let me know, can always hit that magical reverse button. Trade ideas moving forward are also appreciated.

    Cheers in advance team 🙂

  30. Laird Yeo Lloyd Doedee Finlayson Naughton (Duman Murphy)

Fyfe Dusty Mitchell Crouch Zerrett Heeney Cogs Kelly (Holman Barry Spargo)

    Gawn NicNat (Cameron)

Gray McLean Sicily Smith Taranto Walters (Fritsch ZGL)

73K in the bank and 20 trades

    Looking at:
    Holman to Phillips
    Naughton to Simpson

    Fritsch and Doedee/Finlayson to
Cumming and a midfielder via dpp

Had a bad week scoring 2002 and dropped from 2K to 5262k
    Any thoughts?

  31. Hey Lads probably need a bit of help with this rabble

Rank $16k/20 trades left/$161k in the bank

DEF: Laird, Hurley, Jonas, Doedee, Murray, Naughton (Duman, Stoddart)

MID: Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Oliver, Duncan, Kelly, Stephenson, Spargo (Dow, Holman, Barry)

    RCK: Gawn, Martin (English)

FWD: Gray, McLean, Heeney, Young, Fritsch, Ratugolea (Walters, Giles-Langdon)

Potential Outs: Doedee, Naughton, Stephenson & Barry

Potential Ins: Eagles, Keefe, Howe, Simpson, Yeo, Bruest, Danger

I think Doedee and Naughton are the pressing issues, Naughton’s injury looked pretty bad and Doedee might start to bleed cash soon, I think he’s peaked. Barry can’t really lose me anything if he aint playing and Pies have an ok schedule coming up so Stephenson should hold his own.

Only cashies I can see at the moment are Keefe and Ealgles, but both have pretty shaky JS and would be slow growers anyway, I may need one though, don’t wanna spend all my cash on an upgrade. Danger can probably wait, Bruest is more someone I will watch for a while. Think I need another defender, Simpson and Yeo are guns and Howe could grow to a gun.

    Any advice/comments massively appreciated.

  32. DEF: Laird, Hurley, Sicily, Hibberd, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

MID: Titch, Dusty, Fyfe, Cripps, Bont, Coniglio, M. Crouch, T. Kelly (Crowden, Spargo, Barry)

    RUC: Gawn, Martin (Olango)

FWD: McLean, M. Wallis, D. Smith, Billings, Fritsh, Henry (Giles-Langdon, Guelfi)

    Season Rank: 2,880

    Trades left: 22

    Planned trades:
With Hurley out, need to upgrade DEF given lack of depth in rooks and rooks’ high BEs… and yes, keeping faith in Billings :\

    Naughton –> Keefe
    Doedee –> T. McDonald

Will pick-up Ed Phillips next week and try to upgrade Henry to a fallen premo – Heeney or Simpson (via Sicily)

    Any advice/comments massively appreciated!

  33. DEF: Laird, Sicily, Lloyd, Savage, Cole, Finlayson (Mirra, Murphy)

MID: Macrae, Fyfe, Mitchell, Oliver, Sidebottom, Coniglio, Parker, Kelly (Brayshaw, Banfield, Coffield)

    RUC: Gawn, Martin (Lavender)

FWD: Mclean, Westhoff, Smith, Walters, Taranto, Fritsch (Spargo, Guelfi)

Only real worry is bench cover but most rookies are a decent chance to get back in their senior squad.

    Ranked: 3069

    Trades: 19

    ( Fritch/ Guelfi )

    19 trades

    $477 400.

Naughton to Simpson a lock this week. This will leave me with 18 trades and $266K

I will be looking at Brayshaw to Phillips and either Danger for Kelly or a Dodee/ Finlayson upgrade next week.

I’m usually quite tight with my trades but this year I really want to get to full premo ASAP. Saving around 7 injury trades post Byes.

I’m currently ranked just outside the top 1ok and my goal is to win as many leagues as I can and finish inside the top 1000.

I’m glad I traded Buddy when I did as it doesn’t look like he will be back anytime soon.

Best of luck to everyone for the rest of the year.

  35. Laird Simpson Webster*
    Doedee Finlayson Murray
    (Hurley Murphy)

    Fyfe Dangerfield
    Mitchell Oliver Martin
    Coniglio Kelly Higgins
    (Barry Spargo O’Connor)

    Gawn Naitinui

    McLean Sicily* Heeney
    Smith Ronke Guelfi
    (Henry Langdon)

    18 Trades after this week

    $33,300 in the bank

    Trades this week:
    Naughton -> Webster
    Holman -> Sicily (via Higgins)

    Next week:
    Double down

    Following week:
    Double up

14 trades left going into byes

    1. Gonna be tight with those trades and getting to a ‘full premium’ team before finals. Will need a lot of luck with injuries over the next few weeeks. Best of luck, Wheels!

    Mclean (12) Walters (14) D.Smith (13) Fritsch (13)
    Billings (14) Higgins (14) Spargo (13) Ronke (14)

Will be doing two upgrades this week
    1) Lycett –> Grundy
    2) Happy to hear suggestions for what I should do

    1. Can’t go wrong with Lycett to Grundy. Should also have enough to go from Doedee to Yeo? Team looks nicely set up for the future……..

      1. Cheers yer I really tempted by Yeo but I think I might go Simpson at the 30k cheaper bit boring but 30 k more for Dangers next week and avg wise I think they will be pretty similar.

        Thanks again for the reply

  37. 18 trades, left rank 278, 2k in the bank after this weeks trades
Def.. Laird, Hurley, Simpson, Yeo, Sicily, Shaw…. Doodee, Mihocek
Mids. …. MacRae, Danger, Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Dusty, Bonts T. Kelly … Holman, Spargo and a no name from Sydney fwd. link
    Rucks… Gawn, NicNat, …. Crossley
Fwds.. Mclean, Smith , Fritsch, Waterman, Henry, Keeffe… Guelfi, Narrier

Probably waterman goes for Gray after his bye, but Holman to Phillips next week for a little cash, its all i can see doing trade wise, back and mid am happy with but fwd line needs work, but most fwd. prems are getting cheaper, any suggestions appreciated

  38. DEF: Laird, Savage, Lloyd, Sicily, Doedee, Finlayson (Naughton, Richards)

MID: Danger, Titch, Macrae, Dusty, Fyfe, Coniglio, Zorko, Kelly (Banfield, Higgins, Barry)

    RUCK: Gawn, Nank

FWD: Gray, Smith, Petracca, McLean, Fritsch, Spargo (Gil Lang, Guelfi)

    20 trades left, rank 6000, $38k

This week Banfield > Phillips, Petracca > Lobb

      1. Petracca to Lobb feels a bit sideways to me. Have you considered Finlayson/Doedee and Petracca out. Could then get an uber premo forward or back plus rookie?

  39. Def – Laird, Simpson, Yeo, Savage, Sicily, Coffield (Murphy, Duman)

Mid – Fyfe, Macrae, Dusty, Titch, Danger, Cripps, Cogs, T Kelly, (Barry, Spargo, Phillips)

    Rucks – Gawn, Nank (Olango)

Fwd – McLean, Heeney, Menegola, Smith, Fritsch, Waterman (Henry, Giles-Langdon)

    Bank – 63.5
Trades – 19 (after using two this week; Doedee/Naughton for Menegola/Phillips)
    Rank – 792

Trade targets – R Gray post his bye. Hurley once he comes good (maybe post his bye) and Walters back in once he bottoms out for Fritsch are my main targets. I figure T Kelly can turn in to whoever at Geelong’s bye round.

    1. think that might just be the best team i’ve seen so far.

Given side announcements, maybe Duman on field for Coffield and put E on Murphy to max. your DEF points this week.

What are you gonna do if Nank is rested this week?? Maybe Menegola can wait for now!?

      1. Read my mind once i heard about Duman!

Ive now only used one trade (Naughton to Phillips via Coffield DPP). If Nank is rested then im rolling the dice on Nic Nat. Never been so highly ranked so going for it.

Menegola can wait so now forward line has Sicily, with Doedee still in the backs.

        Thanks for the feedback!

  40. Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Simpson, Doedee, Murray (Naughton, Coffield)

Mid: Fyfe, Cripps, Mitchell, Martin, Coniglio, T. Kelly, Finlayson, Holman (Armitage, Barry, Spargo)

    Ruck: Gawn, Martin (Cameron)

Fwd: Gray, McLean, Heeney, Smith, Christensen, Henry (Fritsch, Garlett)

    Trades Left: 23

    Cash: 30.4k

    Overall Rank: 12k

Plans: Naughton out this week, not sure who to. Armitage and Christensen must go as well. I plan on targeting Dangerfield, Oliver and Macrae for the mids. For the forwards, 2 of Mundy, Westhoff, Menagola and Buddy. In the backs, 2 of Webster, McDonald, Hurley and Jonas.

    1. I reckon you’re on the right track, young fella 😉 I like the plan you have in place. Surely there’s a couple of league Cups coming your way……

  41. Def: Larid, Sicily, Yeo, Hurley, Simpson, Finnlayson, (Richards, Murphy)

Mid: Fyfe, Treloar, Danger, Mitchell ,Cripps, Coniglio, T.Kelly, Phillips, (Coffield, Spargo, J.Garlett)

    Ruck: Gawn, Naitanui, (Spargo)

Fwd: McClean, Heeney, D.Smith, Parfitt, Fischer, Ronke, (Fritsch, Guefli)

    Trades: 15

    Bank: $94,700

    Rank: 8,286

Yep, done my nuts on trades to date. Going with the go hard or go home approach due to way to many corrective trades (and some shite decisions).

Done my trades for this week, ok for byes & trusting my will to be competitive if nothing else.

    1. Very unlucky with Parfitt, don’t know what’s going on there. I just hope your remaining rookies make enough to allow your final upgrades. It’s gonna be tight at seasons end with the trades, of course

  42. Def: Laird, Savage, Lloyd, Doedee, Finlayson, Murray (Naughton, Murphy)

Mid: Danger, Fyfe, Dusty, Titch, Cripps, Coniglio, Kelly, Holman (Brayshaw, Spargo, Barry)

    Rucks: Gawn, Nic Nat (Lavender)

Fwds: McLean, Walters, Smith, Sicily, Fisher, Fritsch (Guelfi, Henry)

    24 trades, $279,900k in bank, rank 3674

Hey guys, still have a lot of rookies that are about time to go in the team, but have plenty of trades to start using now and through the byes, along with some handy cash in the bank. Going early on Phillips could be an option this week, while also doing an upgrade to either a yeo or oliver (like the look of him at his price), with plans to get Gray after his bye.

I’d say finlayson, doedee and fisher are my main priorities to move on, with Naughton at a lower price and won’t be at risk of loosing cash in the next few weeks. Murphy coming back could provide much needed cover this week.

Thanks guys, just wondering if you any thoughts about this week, and future plans. Cheers

  43. here is my team
DEF laird, sicily, simpson, doedee, murray, bonner ( himmelberg and Austin)

MID fyfe, cripps, Mitchell, conigilo, j steven, Kelly(Geelong) Finlayson and banfield (LDU barry brodie
FWD brown Dixon Fritsch Higgins townsend ronke (galochi fogarty)
    RUCK gawn sinclair and cameron

  44. Team is going decent.

    Rank. 1693

Def: Laird, Sicily, Yeo, Howe, Simpson, Cumming ( O’Shea, Murphy)

Mid: Fyfe, Cripps, Titch, Oliver, Martin, Coniglio, Kelly, Spargo (Holman, Coffield, Barry)

Fwd: Gray, McLean, Heeney, Smith, Fritsch, Waterman (Henry, Guelfi)

    Remaining Salary: 191.8k
Done well with upgrades in my opinion. I’m giving Dusty 1 more chance before looking to upgrade him to Danger, and also looking to downgrade to Phillips at the expense of Holman.
