SCT Leagues Update – Rd19

Written by Schwarzwalder on August 1 2017

I’ve been keeping a list of all our top Leagues (any that were formed here) going around.  It’s not always accurate so double-check to see if your League gets a mention here.  I’ll update the post as soon as possible, thank you!

26 Leagues still inside the Top500 but those numbers are starting to dry up.  Let’s hope for a strong finals series from our Coaches.  Just to highlight the rise of our LoEC1 League……..after Rd9 they were sitting at #331 overall, now situated at #46…..massive effort!

SCT GROUP

Stephan and his Wognuts have been on top ever since Adam decided he was feeling kinda lonely in the Garden Of Eden.  These last four weeks are going to feel like four months at this rate.  Wognuts lead by just 46pts from Scrambled Legs…….

TECH LEAGUE

The Jumper Punchers refuse to yield in the Tech League and have a very handy lead with just four weeks to go………..

SCT CONTRIBUTORS

Sitting at #304 overall, the SCT Writers & Contributors are holding their position in the Rankings………

I never realised how one team can have so much of a bearing on League positions.  The TEAM just can’t get out of a form slump and our League rankings have suffered as a result.  Heads up for the last four weeks, finish off as best you can.  Good luck, Coaches!

  1. Very happy to be in 4 of the top 500. Just to confirm, I presume ALL the teams scores count through to the end of the season as in individual rankings?

  2. Pretty proud Last Minute Guns still at 440 especially given that at least one coach has thrown in the towel a few weeks ago (I won’t name and shame)- hope we can maintain a top 500 finish regardless.

Great going Leeuwin League 2 & SCT LoEC1. Hope you guys can crack the Top 10.

  3. Was just checking out the top leagues and noticed there’s a bunch of leagues with the name “SuperCoachCoach….” that have flooded the Top 20 (in fact 10 Teams in the Top 20 which is huge).

Presume they are all part of another Supercoach forum and they’ve obviously had a clear plan from the start to go for a League victory…..I’d be interested to understand strategy they may have employed from the start. Thoughts anyone? (Don’t worry I’m not defecting….yet) 😛

    1. Supercoachcoach is a site more about opening up discussion threads between coaches than research articles. The guys that run it seem like good blokes. I believe they’ve been handpicking their leagues for a few years like LoEC and have nailed it this season. I reckon they had a LOT of coaches on the Sandiwitts combo which was the way to go this season.

  4. Super happy to have made Finals in Top20kofSCT. The league has been running inside top200 for most of the year! Great to be reaching some personal goals this year and holding my own against some stiff competition!

  5. The JumperPunchers might be in a bit of trouble this week with Danger out…….hoping the other Tech League teams at the top have as few trades left as me.
