North Melbourne: Jy Simpkin limped off during second period on match sim, with tightness in his left hamstring. It was iced and North doesn’t expect him to miss any time on the track.

Essendon: Match Sim – Stringer and Wright didn’t play. Parish and Merrett dominate in the mids. Perkins played as mid while Martin rotated through midfield and wing. Ridley was very good and Redman was effective.
