He he, (good bye round) is about right.
I hear Dusty will not play until after the byes, but will be ready to rip from there, so trade him out at your peril (calf is fu3ked)!
On the positive, they love Callum Moore and Daniel Rioli is likely to be managed back through the VFL until post-Rd14. We’ll see how reliable the source is soon enough, but I trust him for what it’s worth (same guy who told me to get on Caddy pre-season). As an adjunct to that, don’t get on Caddy now. He’s a bit-part of the back-to-back plan!
Dusty out till after byes makes sense. Only one extra week on the sidelines to hold him.
Given the expected amount of carnage in selection and that this is fantasy football….I’ll ask this question.
If you could trade in another player from another era who would it be.
My initial thoughts are either Adam Goodes or Matthew Pavlich when they played midfield. Anthony Koutafides was also a thought until I remembered Carlton have the bye.
So who would it be people?
That’s an easy one for mine – Gary Ablett Jnr, circa 2009. Unstoppable.
The inference was for somebody not playing anymore…perhaps you might care to go Gary Ablett?
Good invalid selection though!
Dunstall. Goals and 1%ers.
Oh yeah he has the bye, damn this round!
In that case, Coleman. Guaranteed 5goals by his average.
the REAL king……Dick Reynolds
Can I bring in the old Tom Rockliff please? I mean he’s already in my team so if I can do that without wasting a trade then that’d be ideal.
Greg Williams
Or
Lockett
King Carey
Jonathon Brown 2006 where averaged 140 for the first 10 rounds. He was a beast.
5 scores 150+ including a monster 262!!
Gaz Jr or Rocky’s untouchable season, or even the original fantasy pig of Dane Swan.
Dean Cox would make a handy ruck forward with a 120+ average too.
Plugger!
I have some absentees in my backline this week, so if he didn’t have the bye, I’d give it to Eric Huxtable.
Alas, Carlton has the bye, so I’ll go for Mick Malthouse instead.
Anyone into Teamcoach cards?
Too add to all the Carnage Tom Morris is reporting there is Bad News for those that have held onto Billings saying he has been dropped.
Out he goes then. I’ve waited for this wonderful moment and excuse to get rid of the bastard. He will be back in round 14 and will average 110+ though
He has the bye r14
Rd15 *
No he’s had a bye for the whole season so far.
that’s when the rest of us will trade him in
Of course.

I think Supercoach has crashed, hardly surprising hahahaha
Massive shout out to the entire SC Team & Community, thanks for the great year. I’ll see you all on 2019.
Ridley and Smith out…… I have 16 players at best
I have 13 haahaa, I win
Billings in dropped!
Up – Trade him to Menegola
Dn – Hold and hope he is back soon
Personally I’d already traded him to Menegola earlier in the week. Being dropped just makes more confident in that decision.
Carnage
I said I was waving the white flag this round but now I’m officially a flog goal umpire and waving two white flags, i need the Vegemite Coz I’m toast this week. Ah the thrill of SuperCoach. I still love it.
My cat is sitting on my lap looking at me strangely…never seen me cry before.
I have 13 players playing with Cogs, Martin, Laird, Ridley and Smith all out this week..
oh dear can anybody beat that ?
Sure can, I’ve got 12 playing with 2 on extended bench! And the twelve playing aren’t exactly top notch with the likes of Hibberd, Spargo and Giles-Langdon taking the field. My team was planned to have 19 playing this week. Next week was meant to be the bad bye week for me. Ahh the Joys of supercoach
I had 19 to start the week. Down to 13 in one fell swoop as well.
AFL brings in the bye rounds & now they are fast becoming the time for teams to rest their guns for 2 or 3 weeks , will happen again the week before the pre finals bye as well , barring a few teams trying to make the 8 , has the AFL made even 1 change to the game that makes the game better to watch for the fans ..
I’m going to close the sc app now, bend over and hope the sc God’s don’t go any harder
Bahaha I’m spewing I can only like this comment once.
I have this tube of stuff that might make you predicament a little easier to put up with !!
RIP
Ive cried as an adult only twice in my life. During red dog and now reading this page
We need a Govt funded support group
Sorry about delay, Computer problems.
No worries mate. I thought maybe you were in shock!
Who to upgrade Billings to? I’ll have 480k to work with, and I think the 2 front runners are:
TU: Boak
TD: Buddy
Comment other suggestions, thanks
Worse than I thought….I’ve got three players on the field this round.
What the actual f*** is this carnage!
Ive had to trade ridley and mutch banking me sweet piss all just to field 18! Im sure many people wont even be able to field 18! This is next level bye problems and its only the start!
Count your Blessings Zac – I can’t field 18. The SC Gods have torn me a new one (that’s 4 Aholes I’ve accumulated in the last few years). Spewing because 4 rounds ago I was ranked around the 22.5K mark, improved my ranking to 8,600 odd in that month.
Still – NEVER GIVE UP AND KEEP PUNCHING.
Trade Coniglio? Out this week bye next week.
T/U yes
T/D no
If yes
T/U Oliver
T/D Treloar
Both have the same bye as cogs. Will need some scoring power this week as alot of other carnage has happen
Martin on the other hand that’s a different decision. Pj I should a listened to ya buddy. Thinking Martin to Westhoff ranked 700 odd, by the end of this round I could be floating in the Yarra River.
Yeah. Regrets on bringing dusty are high.
But he was on one of the longest continuous games streaks in the league, so you can’t really complain too loudly.
I’ll just save the loud complaints for Buddy, Kelly, and Greene.
I think he has to go. After starting with Zerrett, I’m nervous about holding a concussed player, espically if it’s bad enough for him to miss a week.
Wow…I’m in a world of hurt. Non playing players this week before trades:
Simpson, McGovern, Sicily, Laird, Murray, Mirra and Ridley in backs! (Doedee only Backman on field)
Fyfe, Titch, Cripps, Cogs, Dusty, Barry, Garlett
McLean, T.Smith, Keefe
Even if I trade in 3 available players this week will only be able to field 15 players at best.
Time to assume the fetal position!
Head down Bottom up son. I’ll be taking the same broomstick.
Just wondering. I mean conserving trades is one thing, but what the hell were Barry and Garlett still doing in there?
Multiple position Emergency loopholes?
Always planned on trading them out this week mate. Unfortunately. counted on players such as Fyfe, Dusty, Laird, Cogs, Smith, Ridley…etc to be available. I was actually really prepared for the byes before the carnage with a bank balance of 800K
Should I be nervous that Guelfi is on the extended bench?
If he doesn’t get named I have to burn a second trade on Mihocek via dpp or take Ahern.
I guess at least the last resort is the last game.
I secretly love rounds like this…
I agree…I planned bye rounds and a spread from the start of the year…cost me early rankings… one trade this week…westhoff in for gowers…18 onfield. 19 and 21 rds 13/14 after two more planned trades.
Four colored highlighters !!
Most of us planned byes but how can you plan for 5 playing players out during a bye week? You cant!
Exactly.
Luckily this was the GOOD bye round.
If we ended up with 5 players short during round 14 I think I wouldn’t open my supercoach team again until 2019.
have to question your line up then, given the named players out this week (Laird, Dusty, Cogs should have pretty much been on everyones list … throw in Smith who everyone traded in last week … and the list goes on )
Put up your team list Wighty??
A bit of sadomasochism?
you sick bast#$D!! … hahaha
Only used one trade… yet.
Have got the bare minimum 18, with 5 players expected to play this week on the pine with injury or suspension.
Wowwee!!!!
Although I feel pain all over my body reading these outs, I have to say what an extremely funny thread to read from top to bottom!
Classic posting SCT coaches!
Started with 21 and I’m down to 16 and that’s with a few on extended benches too. Thought tbat was horrific until I read some of the stories on here.
C Curnow might become Hoff or Boak. Happy to cop one doughnut if necessary.
I started with 20 and I’m down to 14 FML
T/U – T Phillips
T/D – Treloar
I was thinking I could get away with no trades this week, but with Fyfe, Dusty, Cogs and Laird deciding to ruin plans, I’ve had to trade 2 in just to get 18 on the field.
Well least we are all fu3ked
It might be the post selection night beer talking community, but I might do a silly trade of ridley to heron and t Smith to Ahern
Gives me 18 this week and I’ll still be comfortable the next two byes if either don’t play (heron the D8 loophole eventually)
Could be a bit of bye round stress but might take the risk!
Go Mihocek and Ahern.
Even if Mihocek doesnt play again (highly unlikely) the worst case scenario is a 102k donut.
Cheers! Think that might be the go!
Will definitely sleep on the double trade, but prefer Mihocek over heron
Hahahahahahahaaa
I love the byes. I spent 2 hours this arvo on the excel spreadsheet..still can field 16 so I shouldnt complain. Great threads guys….lets suffer and watch rankings shuffle…
Trade in Hogan or Boak? Hogan is ok for bye structure
T/U Bogan
T/D Boak
Absolute carnage this week. I went from 21 players on field to 13. I am also now needing to burn a couple of extra trades than I wanted. With my 277k cash I was thinking :
Out coniglio, Garlett (carl) and Ridley
In T McDonald, Austin and rance ( I am 2k short of getting Walters)
If I wanted Walters I would need to trade L Murphy but low and behold he is playing. I suppose the question I have is Murphy ia warm body on the field and is Murphy and rance points going to be more than Walters?
What would you do?
I’d find another target other than Rance, personally.
HH, would you pick Walters for Murphy
Ridley to Heron
Screw it. Hello, Rockliff!
What’re the odds on Sam Murray holding his spot on the extended bench?
Very low with Howe back I’d have thought.
There’s basically 4 players fighting for one spot, and already Collingwood are playing defenders in forward and mid roles.
I/C Taylor Adams, Flynn Appleby, Ben Crocker, Josh Daicos, Jeremy Howe, Chris Mayne, Sam Murray, Rupert Wills
If all players are fit, Howe, Adams and Mayne play, so you would expect Daicos to be number 4, given the lack of forward firepower listed. Unless they plan on shifting either Sidebottom or Pendlebury forward, but this year he’s been more likely to shift Pendles back.
Thought Howe was to be out a little longer. Optimistic is an understatement at this point. Cheers
Any chance we could have a ‘how many players have you got left this week’ poll?
Please tell me I’m not the only one down to 16…
Plan for this to be my good week with 22 playing. 6 outs including 4 premos and now I’m looking at copping a donut
Copping a donut . Gee that’s tough. I’ve got only 12 players and only 5 of them I hope to have onfield at the end of the season.
I have 21 on field this week, anyone beat that?
I had 22 plus an extra in the forwards before the teams dropped. I’m scared to look…
15, plus two on extended benches (Guelfi and Murray).
I guess this HAD been my best season so far.
Going early on hurley to allow me to swing sicily forward and get simpson next week and also to have 18 players each week
Do I trade out spargo or Tim Smith? (If I trade Smith I only have 17 playing)
TU: Trade Spargo
TD: Trade T.Smith
Got 16 this week somehow, going for league only and my opponent seems to be in a similar situation (as are we all reading these posts!). So I’m going to try and stay strong and conserve trades…
Can’t wait to see what team ends up winning this round, gonna be ludicrous
