Written by Schwarzwalder on March 10 2019

Welcome back to the TEAM for 2019!  If you are stopping by on the site, then you too are part of our TEAM.   You have as much input to offer as anyone else on the site.

Today we look at the possibility (not certainty) of adding MidPricers to the TEAM.  Ultimately it will depend on structure and availability for Rd1.  So where are the best MidPricers?

Where are the best MidPriced options for 2019? (two choices)

  1. Roberton worth it for me. Smith and Greene asking for trouble, while Libba probably won’t average enough to justify a midfield spot. Darcy Moore, just no.

  2. Mid be worth defining mid-pricers.

What price bracket are we talking? Are we considering steppingstones and potential premiums alike? Is 400k+ a mid-pricer?

    1. I’d expect it varies for each position based on averages.. for example … any mid who averages less than 100 ain’t a premo…. and that is a $540k cut-off.. whereas a RUC can only have 3 maybe 4 premos .. average over 110 which is around $600k.. a DEF around 95, though it could be higher this year.. but that’s around $515k and a FWD similar. Taking lowest common denominator, anything lower than $500k is a mid-pricer

      1. I guess practically I want to know if Williams is a midpricer, and do the second tier fwds count as midpricers (boak etc). Brad crouch another example of a more expensive midpricer.

  3. Newman, smith, taranto. (I’m assuming Williams doesn’t count) are the ones I’d run over all other mid pricers. Libba is just to awkward in the middle if he gets injured.
