ROUND THREE SUMMARY
Decent result for the TEAM after keeping the faith in our opening line-up and being rewarded with a 2359! The TEAM jumped over 16k places in the Rankings and more importantly, qualified for the SCT Cup…….great job, Coaches!
ROUND THREE LINE-UP
As mentioned earlier, I hate the Thursday games. It’s especially hard to get polls ready for the TEAM not knowing the full lists for the weekend. Anyway……… we still have all our 30 trades, Coaches! And we’re travelling fairly well in comparison to the last few years.
If this was your line-up, would you make any moves this week? Let us know of any trade suggestions in the comments below. If there are enough thumbs UP from the Coaching Staff, then we’ll put them to a poll. What do have in mind, Coaches?
UPDATE at 12 noon on 11/4/19
Since there haven’t been any trade suggestions, I’m going to assume that we’re happy letting our rookies appreciate in value for another week. Not sure we’ve ever had all 30 trades going into Rd5 (next week). So we’re left with the same polls as last week……choice of C/VC and whoch rookies are playing on-field……….

Very similar line up to me
My concerns are Hore gibbons and Balta and how slow they are going to burn
Good points. I think they can all be given another week as they’re not on field. Look at probably Gibbons (BE=0) to Stack next week and whatever else pops up?!
Yep good call. Hold for now and upgrade under performing rookies when there is promising replacement such as Stack on the bubble

How do us mere mortals get into SCT Cup?
I am ranked 2400ish atm.
To qualify for the SCT Cup, you just needed to join the SCT Group (#900763) and be amongst the Top 250 after Rd3. There is also a wildcard round this week, I believe. The highest 6-7 scores will qualify

I think all the ppl with the @sct in their team name should only qualify for the Cup. Btw I’m currently 167th so not salty.
I concur. Have been rocking the @sct moniker for the first time and ranked just outside 250.
Haven’t we just played Round 3, so shouldn’t it be if you are in the SCT Group now & ranked in the top 250?
Grundy must be lock for VC, if Witts can get 52 HO then imagine what Grundy will do. Wish I had that option.
Avoid Gawn because of the unknown factor of Preuss

Search for SCT Cup in the search bar above Nath’s Stats at the top of the page and find the article on Feb 21st from Schwarz, which explains it all. It’s a great comp, and adds another dimension to the excitement of league games. Hoping to qualify again this year!

I’m struggling to comprehend the fact that 4 people voted to put Gibbons on the field… perhaps they’re playing against the TEAM this week?
Careful of you vc and c this week. Most have bines as there loop hole which is fine but if you have grundy and gawn as well certainly limits the vc choice.
Just start one on the bench as an emergency anyway. You don’t have to captain Bines. He will still score a 0 and will be replaced
