Supercoach Talk Tech Leagues 2021

Written by JimmyDee on March 5 2021

Start from Scratch with the same Team, I’d like to see that!!

Tech League is back, and last year’s winner Mrs Macca says she’s “back to smack” so who fancies a spot in that gig.

I’d like to add another league this year to increase both the numbers and the competition, as well as site banter each week.

For any newbies, a quick summary of SCTTL as follows:

Basically, everyone who joins a Tech League will start with the exact same 30 players supplied through the site and will not be allowed to trade until after round one. Any differences in team’s structure will only be through choice of captain or who to sit on the bench or who’s loopholed. Essentially it’s a side competition where everyone starts on an equal footing. Apart from that, it’s the same rules as your normal team.

Now, speaking of normal teams, the boffins don’t allow participants to have more than one entry in Supercoach. To overcome this (especially if you are a serious contender for outright honours), a separate email address and name must be used, eg wife, grandma, pet bullfrog or even a work address and pen name. Mrs Macca led for most of last season to win the outright honours in SCTTL, and maybe even knocking Macca off for overall.

Most of last year’s participants have confirmed their entries but we need more so any newbies who wish to express an interest in the “Three Rs” themed team, email me a quick note to jimmydeeatsupercoachtalkdotcom with your name, site moniker and regular team name (for easier recognition), and I’ll get back to you with a group code, league code and final team to input.

Jump on board and test your skill by starting on the same page as everyone else, it’s fun.

  1. Come on everyone out there on this site.

This is a really good comp and lots of fun and a definite test of your skills at trading and making calls of who is the best value players.

It literally couldn’t be a fairer or closer comp and is a good way to keep your interest up through the year. There was even cash prizes last year, thanks to the generosity of several of the site regulars … so get involved!!

  2. Well said Macca and thanks Janes for coordinating
Initially I was thinking it was hard enough to keep up with 1 team especially with selections day before but it’s a bit of fun where you can possibly take more risk or utilise all your research to include players you. Sent for into other side MBuzz
