  7. Is anyone considering bringing Jordan Gysberts into their team?

In last 5 games has scored 69/128/23/84/94

And the 23 was the game last year where he got injured.

Priced at $228k and with a be of -43

  8. Mz yeah he’s going up 20k this week if gets a 60-70 I don’t see him been a 80+ player, fisher at 460 or Gilbert 400 look inviting and saint have been playing like garbage so they should pump out some better scores with a few wins

  9. What are peoples thought on Knights and Krak to JRoo and, wait for it, JTip? This would free up Petrie from R3 and I think he’ll be hood enough for F7 come the end of the year. Has the Tiges again rd 24, no other Kangas premiums either so not much loss rd 21… Plus I get JRoo… The only other way for me to get him is straight swap form Hurley, but he has an enticing run over the next few… And I’d loose my FWD/BAC w McKernas. Thoughts??

  12. Thinking of trading:

    -Broughton
    -Boak
    -Rioli

Currently have $106k in the bank, so possibilities include:

    1. Rioli out for Jack Rie, Duigan up to Deledio

    2. Broughton up to Deldio, Boak up to anyone up to 507k

    3. Boak out for big Brent Moloney, Sylvia, or someone else with potential explosiveness

Does anyone have any insightful advice based on these ideas?

  16. Hi
    Motts /Big Sexy and Duck
I wonder if you guys can give some feedback to all us novices out here on which Rookies are looking like keepers and which look like being Cash Cows i think that would be very handy info to all

  17. Ladies and Gents:
I had a quick look at the team who won the round, and it appears it was a new team. So with Deano’s words ringing in the ears, here is my Round 6 Wonders.

    Backs:
Goddard, Deledio, Newman, Adcock, Hurley, Toy, Pederson
    Mids:
Swan, Ablett, Watson, Pridis, MMurphy, Embley
    Ruck:
    Fraser, Petrie
    Frwds:
Harvey, Goodes, O’Keefe, Didak, RMurphy, Motlop, Darling

    Obviously no need for emergencies.

My biggest concern is I’ve probably gone for all the very obvious ones. And maybe not enough bombers since they are playing GC.

Would love some advice. If I win the $1000, I’ll send a couple of boxes of Crownies to SCT HQ.

  20. Putting the VC on the Hurnimator tomorrow night.
Can’t see the Dees have got anyone that can play a fwd tag on him and got a feeling in my loins that he’ll rip it up.

  21. Just an observation, so far every team has lost after coming back from a bye (except STK who played BL who also came back from a bye). Might be worth a second thought in the multi lads.

  22. Thinking of pulling the trigger on a Yarran/J Riewoldt sideways trade.

Riewoldt’s breakeven is 29 while Yarran is injured and needs 102 when he gets back.

Wouldn’t be the silliest trade in the world would it?

  23. Only done the 2 trades so far (& hoping Broughton, Rioli & Krakhour not out for long) but thinking of trading Chris Knights for Drew Petrie. Don’t have DPP in rucks, but Knights scoring 60’s & Petrie likely to increase by 100K & also chip in with bigger scores. Only 44K in bank so not enough to go to J.Riewoldt. Thumbs up for good trade & thumbs down for bad trade.

  24. This was my assumption right from the start – that teams would struggle with the bye. However my money this week is on Sydney at home. Sorry Motts – been real proud of your team so far (I’m a Brisbane supporter and I so want to tip them this week, but I think the Tigers are going to win a decent battle – we can’t seem to win the close ones over the last couple of years).
I am so looking forward to getting anouth 30 games into the likes of Redden, Banfield, Polec, Rockliff and co 🙂

  25. Good day to all,

I’ve got $166,800 left in the bank, and I really want to bring Jack Riewoldt into my SuperCoach team this week (after last week’s effort, he’s definitely back on the wagon), but who to trade out … Krakouer, Knights or Richardson? Personally, I’m thinking Knights (my comments below), but I’d love some more opinion:

    – Krakouer still has a low BreakEven, so if he gets named, should still make some more money (plus he’s DPP), and you can’t dismiss his 102 in Round 1 and his 81 in Round 3.
    – Knights still has a BreakEven of 43, and given his average over the last 3 weeks is only 61, I can’t see much more value there.
    – Richardson’s 11 last week is really going to hurt his future potential, but he’s still only $149,300, and as such, I can’t afford a direct trade to Riewoldt.

    Thanks heaps.

  26. Whats everyones thoughts on Broughton?
Is he a keeper or what?
Not liking the look of it….
Thinking of cashing in before he drops too much.
    Maybe picking up Harry Taylor…
Very cheap now and looks to be hitting some form…

  27. Rd 6 Team looks so shite!
Bench is loaded with bye premiums and potentially rested or “indefinite” players. Omen is feeling very unstable and needs your help. Is it time to panic? Should I trade or just run for the hills? Only 17.8K in the bank…

Gibbs, God, Duigan, Grimes, Lower (C Loop), Stanley, McKernan
[Broughton, Otten (E cover Lower), Toy]

Swan, Judd, Curnow, Goodes, Harris, Swallow
    [Pav, Heppell (E), Selwood]

    Cox (VC Loop), Smith
    [Sandi, Tippett]

Roo, Murphy R, Tappy, Darling, Matera, Petrie, Richo
    [Buddy, Missy, Krak (E)]

  28. The Omen could panic trade Otten for Thompson then make WoodKrak into a JackaRoo. As I said in my post in the other teams link, I think Otten will be back in a few weeks and with a b/e of 11 I’m not prepared to trade him. Probably best to listen to PA though, and then chuck the big C on Swan or BJ.
