  1. News about Ross for those unaware:
Cotchin has suffered a setback and has been ruled out of next weeks game and is likely to miss a few more weeks. This leaves a spot open for 2 more weeks before he can return.
Also for centre bounces since Round 4 the top 3 players attending the most for Richmond are Prestia, Ross and Higgins with values of 47, 47 and 28 appearances.
So Ross has attended the equal most centre bounces since he went into the team.
Does this help your thoughts on JS in any way for Ross?

  2. The most annoying thing out of this team line-up is Lockhart has been named. But questions over Rotham potentially coming in for Barass have also arisen but West Coast don’t play until Sunday. This is a very bold choice on who to go to. A player that has been confirmed but averages 44.5 or another rookie in the mix but not a certain choice averaging 77

    1. Doing some investgating, Barrass didn’t actually play this week as he was a late out. So he isn’t losing a spot and creating an opening, so it seems best to assume that Rotham isn’t a great chance of playing. Someone will need to make way first, but if someone does, Rotham appears to be a likely choice atm as Schofield is already in the team and got the call-up first over Rotham.

  3. Ok voters, choice 1 is obviously Baker,
    Choice 2,

    Up Ross
    Down Henderson

Thoughts Henderson top 5 prem. Possibility ATM.

  4. Started season off really well but one bad week and one mediocre week have me worried about being left behind re: overall.

Figure it’s time to be aggressive then and looking at Clark-Lockhart and Parker-Daniel. However I still have Balta (FWD) and Burgess (DEF) stinking up my team, albeit on bench.

TU – go with the above trade and bring another premo FWD in
TD – deal with your deadwood first (Balta/Burgess) and bring in Baker

    1. Don’t disagree with getting rid of Clark and Parker, but I would focus on Baker as your downgrade target as FWD rookie pickings are likely slim at best. Does that leave you with enough to turn Clark into a solid DEF premo (thinking Hurn)?!
You could always hold Clark a week if not. If he’s rested even better. Lloyd, Whitfield and Laird should all be cheaper next week.
      Good luck!

      1. Cheers AllSaints. But trying to focus on FWD premos to get FWD rookies off field.

Another thought is Wagner-Lockhart to open up swing with Duursma and then do Clark-Daniel via Moore.

Guess the issue is who is better to keep this week – Parker or Clark? And is Baker a must-have seeing he’s a rare FWD rookie? Is it better to bring him in for cash gen over Daniel for points?

  5. Trade out C Wagner to Ross?
Planning already on going Darling to Baker

Would have about 465k after the darling trade. Thoughts?

    1. If you can trade in a keeper for Darling that’s probably ideal, downgrading him makes you one trade shorter and no closer to a full premo side. Baker seems the best rookie to target this week though, any other options to bring him in?

    2. Semi agree with PW above. Depends on how many trades you have left mate. If 28+ I’d actually do it. Whilst the bubble for rookies is critical, the timing on Fallen Premiums is less talked about. Having that cash for a week with so many rookies making significant money this week, should afford you a double upgrade real soon.
Good luck and go with your gut. It’s normally right, and if not, less disappointing anyway 😉

  6. 4,881 overall

Have 360k in bank after downgrading Parker to Baker…

    Should i upgrade:

    T/U – Collins to Hurn

T/D – Moore to Worpel or Boak (have Danger, Heeney, TK already)

Comment 1: hold for now & no further trades necessary
Comment 2: upgrade Goldy to Gawn

  7. Team announcements on a Tuesday… this is starting to get really disorienting. I’m not even sure what day it is anymore!

  8. I’m contemplating throwing the VC on Gawn.
Richmond with a short turn-around means Nank might not be able to keep up with him in the 2nd half and could go large – thoughts on Gawn’s scoring?

TU – His average for the year (~115)
    TD – Captain score (125+)

  9. Thinking of putting the VC on Oliver tonight

TU: ballsy, due for big game and there’s Ric SuperCoach points up for grabs
TD: crazy talk, you should be grateful if he hits a ton
