Game Chat – Essendon v Port Adelaide

Written by Thommo on July 25 2015

In twelfth spot and three games out of the top eight, the equation is simple for Port: They must win this game and practically every game after that too. Against a young Bombers’ outfit winning seems a pretty easy task but Port haven’t defeated Essendon in years and every time we expect the Power’s midfield talent to shine they fail again and again.

Don’t expect the Bombers to have any trouble finding motivation either, with Ryder meeting his old team for the first time and Dyson Heppell celebrating game 100.

Thommo’s tip: Port by 14 points.

  3. FULL TIME

    Bombers 116 vs Power 129

High-scoring affair at the Docklands. Only one of four games this year where both teams have scored over 100 pts (Port involved in three of those). Ryder with four against his old team. The Chad has kicked at least three goals in his last seven games.
