Crap. Had the C on Laird but changed to Neale last minute.
Neale working into it but Bombers making it hard for him.
Unless he gets free reign in the second half it’s looking like a low ton at best. I have the C on him as well…. Sigh…
Neale not doing too bad with the tag from Caldwell. He is still getting a lot of contested possessions, which is helping slowly build his score
And then after 10 minutes into the 2nd quarter. He was a no show and is now on 36 at half……..
Neale might fire up after half time with my tip Brisbane to storm home .
Happy for Merrett and Ridley to continue scoring in second half.
This is the just about the worst game of the year and I’m a bombers supporter and we are actually winning.
Bombers +350 sc pts at half time….thats a worry.
Very uncontested game – which is one reason for Neales low score 🙁
Bombers being allowed to chip the ball around for lots of uncontested marks – hence they are + 392 in SC points to half time.
And also means the game is awful to watch.
My main league opponent switched his captain from Neale to Sicily at the last moment (as I was projected to win by 60 points with my Laird vs his Sicily match up), and now I am in real trouble.
Really need the Lions to switch on & man up – so that Neale can go to work at the stoppages, and hopefully get to at least 100

It appears Caldwell is not playing a hard tag on Neale, as he just came on the field but Neale went off.
Essendon has had 100 extra possessions with a quarter and a half to play, which has really hurt Neale

Thankfully he has had 12 CP and is at least at 71% DE to be on 61 at 3/4 time. This could be a lot worse
Must have traded out and put back in Ridley about 30 times this week.

My decision to keep Cripps over Merrett just keeps hurting, hopefully he pops off this afternoon
